She's not exactly an innocent blushing young thing is she, as she has a daughter already, so presumably was in a 'relationship'. She just might be wondering why you're not showing a bit more interest in the intimate side of things.

However it's obviously your call, and if you prefer to keep things on a platonic but friendship level then I hope she understands your reasons.

They aren't an official couple yet are they? Or if they are its been days.

Everyone is different, some people will sleep together quickly, others won't.

Making a move on her this early might kill things stone dead.

Exactly. I have following this thread, but never actually posted until today. When everyone's been encouraging (which is good, as something might come out of it), I've been wanting to say err on the side of caution. Fancy the OP making a move, and the lady in question had seen the relationship as purely platonic? You don't want to risk a good friendship.

I didn't post anything sooner as didn't want to be accused of putting a downer on this heartwarming thread!

But also, from another angle, I'm also kinda going along with daisyegg's line of thinking too.

Whenever I've looked at this thread, Simon is always online. I don't know how he has time to make his own pasta and cook meals.

When does she expect to see her daughter again? I'd have thought she'd be desperate by now. Has she kept in touch with her while she's been staying with you?

People can stay logged into a device without being at it all the time I would imagine.

Lots of threads could be far from genuine, either people believe this one or they don't.

But if this is the real deal and someone who doesn't have much confidence, picking at it will just kill the thread off.
