Oh no, I've had a rotten day!! Had a row this morning and was late and almost stormed out of the house without taking anything to eat, reasoning 'well I'll just have to buy it today, won't I?' but I slowed down and heated up some soup for my flask! Was still starving as I hadn't bothered to make sandwiches AND forgot to take my water bottle so still ended up paying £3 for sandwich, yoghurt and water :(

Then coming home I missed every single bus and train it was possible to miss raaaaargh!!

But it's all over with now!! Home, warm and fed. Puts things into perspective!

Hope everyone's ok - as inspiring as always on here!

NSD for me today (needed after yesterday's spendy car day )
For tea we had leftover sausages that I brought home from a work meeting yesterday (wrapped in cling film, in my handbag, on the Central Line, then the Circle Line and then mainline from Paddington :rotfl:) There is dedication for you :D I wonder if I was the only suited lady coming from a meeting in a posh bit of London with scavenged sausages in her bag? Probably!!! I had 3 apples, a pear and a banana as well. All saved from the bin, as the caterers are not allowed to reuse food.

    Friday tomorrow :j:j:j:j:T:T:T:T

I have been feeling a bit rubbish this week, probably due to tiredness, but do fell better today :)

Looking forward to the weekend - housework to do, small biz stuff and give DD2 a break from her little one :)

Just yesterday to ge through first :o

I don't believe in the concept of hell, but if I did I would think of it as filled with people who were cruel to animals.

I have bought a few items the last few days with some amazon vouchers but still no impact on my personal finances.
It's really easy to default to cynicism these days, since you are almost always certain to be right.

Good evening all, had jack's chickpea burgers for tea http://agirlcalledjack.com/2013/11/21/this-weeks-guardian-recipe-chickpea-and-chorizo-burgers-and-veggie-alternative/ they were huge! No chorizo for us.

We had them with the last of the oven chips and some home made coleslaw using the last of the brussels sprouts, I chopped these up with some sliced onions, grated carrots, chopped celery and mixed with mayo. yummy.

Another nsd today, left the money that I was looking at this morning at home as I knew it would burn a hole in my pocket. Trying to keep the tenner intact until the end of the month. Had leftovers for lunch and I have made up some chickpea burger and coleslaw wraps for lunch tomorrow hoping for another nsd then too.

OOoohhh these look lovely (minus the chorizo - eewwww) and I've been looking for a tried and tested falafel recipe too (it suggests it is like falafel?) so I might give these a go at the weekend once I work out the equivalent of dried chickpeas (I have some to use up)
