Think about down sizing your house.
is your partner getting enough work
Are spends under control.
If your house is worth 301, assume it wont get that, assume it will get 250 for a quick sale.
how much do you need to pay off your debt and then buy another place0 -
As before, we aren't selling house or cars. Oh is getting some work at various times. Spending on enjoyable things has stopped but had alot of emergencies since xmas0

So you wont sell any of your assets, he just needs to up his income, hopefully that will happen in spring and summer.
best of luck - I suspect you will need it, with your head still in the sand!0 -
Thanks for sticking the knife in.0

Hi BMG,
Sorry to hear you have health issues...I feel for you as I am in various hospital clinics more than I am not...I seem to have one appointment a week for various things most weeks!
I do work....though it can be tough...but when we needed some extra money I couldn't take on a 'traditional' second job like bar work etc, but found work from home online with a company called Lionbridge. If your OH can't take on more work would working from home be possible for you? I found out about the Lionbridge work oh this forum in the up your income part of the forum. It's all done online from home, so no travelling etc. Would something like that be possible for you? It might fill the incoming/outgoing gap a little.PAYDBX 2016 #55 100% paid! :j Officially bad debt free...don't count my mortgage.
Now to start saving...it's a whole new world!!0 -
No one is sticking any knives in.
I refer back to my post at #430 -
This is a very frustrating read!!!!
You want advice yet you're not prepared to listen!
Something needs to give. If you can't work and your husband can't earn more then you need to do something drastic. Sell your house, downsize and pay off your debts. Simples! If you're not prepared to do something drastic then you may as well leave your head firmly buried in the sand.
No one on here will criticise you for getting into debt, we are all in the same boat there. However you seem to have a get out of jail free card you're not prepared to use. Wish I had that luxury!Making £1,000 plus every month from home :T0
