Hi- I am a newbie to posting- I often sit and read these posts and although do not every ask for help or speak about my issues I have taken advice that others have given to ppl in a similar situation as me.

I have to say that I could have predicted the ending to this story because nothing with it adds up- the last comment about hubby dying was the only option to get out of this fabrication-

If it is a true story then I am deeply sorry and feel for you but when you post on here u need to give details and reasoning so that others get the true picture- there are far too many contractions in all theses posts that I am not surprised no one believes this anyone.

As others have said- sell the house- it is legally yours- unless something else will come out the bag- which I fear it may! You will then be debt free can start a new life- be mortgage free and rebuild the relationship with ur parents as u will have no mortgage no credit cards and have no reason for them not to agree with you

I wish you all the best-

Next thing is that the house will have been held as tenants in common and he'll have left his half to to dogs home who will seek a forced sale.

    Perhaps I shouldn't sow ideas.

Or it could start with the same thing that happened over on housebuying etc, they sold their house and the new owners moved in whilst they were still there?

Life is full of What Ifs, what if she is telling the truth and she is not believed, how would you feel facing her with the thoughts so easily expressed? What If she is lying, how would she feel facing us? There are no winners or losers just expressions of thoughts and opinions. This is a very sad situation for us all, the lack of trust, the lack of compassion, which underlines what we have become as a Society. In order to believe anything we want the person telling their story to spill their innermost feelings, to strip themselves naked in their telling before we can help. Wouldn’t it be nice to be objective for a change and judge on what is given rather on what has been missed?
So what if we have or have not been led up the garden path, we must always remember to give advice in good faith. It may or may not have helped the OP but there will be plenty of others who will follow in their footsteps who will benefit from the information supplied, nothing is ever wasted.

I sincerely hope for all our sake, that this story is not true, otherwise we have just destroyed another human being.

    My condolences to us all.
