  • At least now you can use the money he paid into the joint account for a hotel and to make things a little easier for yourself.

You need to, at some point, wish him well, and get a train to your parents where they can support you, where you can stay there, he can sell the house, you can even go bankrupt if the situation requires it.

But personally I would sell the house and start a new life

However, things have changed and I have been told due to the lack of payment for the internet and my mobile phone, they will all be disconnected tomorrow. I have been ignoring the letters and emails they have been sending.

I have only posted once so far and think I will duck out after this post.
You have said here that your mobile bill isn't getting paid, two weeks before your husband left, and yet on your last post you say you only bought a mobile after he left.

I am even more confused. Not sure what to think. If you are giving us the full story then I am very sorry for your terrible predicament but I can't help but notice so many discrepancies that confuse things.

First mobile obviously on contract, new mobile I'd guess is PAYG.
  • I'm sure that the husband got the new mobile number and noted it down from when OP contacted his employer.
Gosh, doesn't the internet make people suspicious of others - I guess talking to someone without seeing their face goes against human instinct a bit and leaves us all up in the air.

I have followed this thread from the start and was suspicious some time ago, but now it all seems rather unbelievable. I do hope the truth will come out soon and the OP and OH have come to no harm

in fact why am I explaining myself to you all. Believe what you want. I hope if something like this happens to you, you will appreciate how hard all this has been for me.[/QUOTE]

These are the words of someone who's angry, not grievously worried.
Everything in my life is a reflection of who I am-as within, so without.
  • Let's just say that its a true story that is being exagerated, or the whole thing is made up, or that its largely true but some details are being changed deliberately because being in severe debt that you're trying to conceal from others or hide from yourself makes you paraniod, or let's say it's all completely true... this is a person who needs support, and has come here to get it, let's lend support if we want/ can and if we are cynical or disbelieving we could move on to another thread, and not risk upsetting an already very troubled person. Just a thought. :-)
I realised I was a debt free wannabe in January 2014..:o

I don't wish to upset anyone, but posters have tried to offer support, which has been refused and so to help further the truth needs to prevail. But as Blue Pixie said, I will move on. Sorry for any offence.

I have been following this thread with sympathy and interest. But, I'm a little suspicious too. If the OP is too disabled (their words) to do any kind of work how could possibly be able to drive such a long distance on their own?
