I dont think the police would give a flying hoo ha about any of this, when my mums cat went missing the police werent the people we contacted, it seriously had nothing to do with them, this cat isnt chipped, the owners who said they were its owner obviously arent, I also dont think people are going to be reading this thread saying, thats my cat
I agree, dont give your personal details out, but apart from that no need to panic
I certainly wasnt quaking in my shoes when I took rascal, if he did have owners, they didnt give a monkeys about him and thats the truth0 -
Kitty was picked up by her new human, all good.
Lets hope for some updates
Nite nite xx0 -
deleted - as asked0

OK- let me explain... neither me or Ewa are worried so please stop mentioning it and panicking.
No need to look for any conspiracy here. Honest. All is fine.
All is good, kitty is safe, no worries - thanks

Crikey ... that is what my Chihuahua weighs and he is teeny tiny ... !! Bless her, now she has nothing against her, she can get her new home, settle down and thrive, bless her ... it is amazing how quickly they turn around with a bit of love and good nosh ... ! I just had the feeling she was younger ... well, she's still got a good number of years to enjoy a better life ... !
Yup ... I can see why some people are a bit nattered re privacy ... I wonder if, now we have all seen this little beauty, it might be an idea to delete the photos of her (if that was possible) just incase the "owners" or friends of the owners were MSE'rs ... with so many people coming here, you never know - and to be honest, I think if it was me, I would also go back to that bus stop and play-act looking around it as though I was looking for the kitty ... if the "owners" saw, they would hardly think I'd helped her escape then ... !!
Of course, the next update we're all waiting to hear is what she has been named ... maybe something to mark the season seeing as she's had a Christmas miracle of her own ... ? Holly ... ? Ivy ... ?
Do let us know what name she gets given ... and thank you Ewa and gettingready ... for being the angels she needed to help her have a new and happier life ... you absolutely rock ... !!!!! xxx0 -
Upodate from new mum:Kitty has had a good night and has taken up residence on the sofa. She seems very relaxed, and is very friendly, coming to greet me whenever I enter the room.
Has used the litter tray with no problems, good girl! Eating everything I give her.
This is a picture of her house mates, who she has yet to meet.
Black and white one is Mum, the other is daughter.
Will introduce them later today0 -
Thanks for the update.Lovely to see her in her new house and know she is safe and warm.
Without giving anything away, is she far away ?0 -
Awww. so pleased she has settled
Looks like her companions weigh just a little more than kitty does :rotfl:
Thankyou to you for giving this kitty a home .. temporary or otherwise xx0 -
Hope the introductions go well. I remember with one cat it took about a week before I thought they were ready to meet. I kept swapping each other's blankets, toys etc so they'd get accustomed but established cat was very suspicious - accusing glances directed at me. They tolerated each other but were always rivals.
