We have 5 cats and like you GR we just opened the door and let them get on with it. A few hisses here and there for a couple of days and now they pretty much ignore each other, unless one wants something one of the others has .. ie a mouse lol

Mine is horrific with other cats...she's better with dogs in general provided they do exactly as she says immediately and without question.

Great kitty has settled in well, bless, nice warm home with care and attention, food given in an appropriate setting,......and toys, humans, and other cats to hang out with instead of bricks...Yay...

I was woken up with a loud heaving /choking/wretching sound...guess I better go find out where she has been sick...probably under my bed or in my shoes....or both if i'm lucky.

Let's hope the paw settles soon for her.
Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.

    .

Mine managed to throw up down the back of the radiator whilst sitting on the windowsill last night. Most of it ended up on the skirting board and carpet, but some was on the wall. I dread to think how bad it would have been if he'd got an inch further forward and got it down the slits in the middle of the radiator - trying to clear that out doesn't bear thinking about. It was a fishy one too........

    Don't you just love 'em.

And then there's the darting backwards and forwards puking at the same time.....mine is often on a mission to do it in every room in the house within one mad dash...lol.

Nope, I already mentioned that above ;)

    Another update:
Kitty has been sleeping a lot, and eating well. She is rather lethargic, and hobbles with her sore paw.
She has sat with us on the sofa and enjoyed being stroked and petted.
I was sneakily cutting a few more lumps of her matted fur off, but she soon put a stop to that by nibbling my hand. Will leave this until she is stronger and more settled. Any tips on dealing with matted fur welcome.

She is so thin, and yes I know my cats are fat! Blame my indulgent husband, I do.

Daughter cat has been into the room to visit. Kitty growled at her, and daughter reversed out the door! Feisty Kitty .....

We have started to introduce the 'smells' of the cats to each other, so hopefully when they do get together it will be easier.

We have had other cats to stay, and Mum and Daughter have soon got used to this. Hopefully Kitty will fit in.

It rather sounds as if Kitty has got her paws well and truly under the table.........:D

It is lovely after a week of worrying about her and what would happen to her, to be able to relax and just enjoy the updates.

Another kind soul to thank in bucketloads for taking her on,hopefully permanently.

You and me both,Meritaten. My mum is nearly 84 and has started saying and doing some rather strange things lately.I wonder if it the start of dementia. She has always been so independent so it is a huge concern.

    You?

Weak though she is i bet she has had to learn to protect what little food and comfort she had on the street. In time i am sure she will be more laid back.
