I have just paid another parking ticket. £25 because I paid it promptly.
In the village square you can park for 30 minutes for free, you just have to get a ticket. Therein lies my problem, as I am only popping in somewhere for a few minutes I quite often do not bother. But some times I do. So I have a centre console littered with free tickets and I also get pcns several times a year.
I am well qualified to advise that parking wardens do not come out in the rain.0 -
The "Search This Thread" button at the top of the page is really useful. With it, one can search for who said what about Bob Crow - all perfectly reasonable and justified at the time. However, not looking quite so nice people-ish, given today's news. It seems that one should never speak ill of the living, because they may be dead sooner than one expects.
Wow. I've been in a no-news bubble today so I heard it here first. I don't theatre back what I said either. And whilst I think he was effective at getting attention and short term effects, I think he had probably done more damage than good for the workforce long term.
I hope he rests in peace, 52 is no age at all.0 -
Have any of the NPs seen the Atomus HD app? It isn't the biggest app, but is quite visually stunning and playing with it you can almost feel your blood pressure dropping it is so restful.
ETA... should have mentioned, you need a touch screen, ideally bigger than a phone. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Nigel Farage is not even 50 till next month! I would have had him down as a lot older than that.
Nooo. I am older than Farage. How depressing. Giving how much he looks like Crush from Finding Nemo I expected him to be at least 150.Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Morning all. Up early as DH off to States. Reassuring noise from garden... phone bird has returned! So now I just need to work out which bird can mimic phones and migrates. It does a British phone ring, the bring bring noise, rather than the long brrrrrriiiiinnnnngggg.
Any ideas? It has a higher pitch than the big garden birds such as pigeons, crows and magpies that I normally get. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
