More digging. Friend came in afternoon, with chainsaw. Cut down fallen tree. Wood moving. Am knackered.
... too tired to type.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

Had a lovely lunch with spirit, she bravely tackled noodles at waggamamma and was not impressed by her second ever visit to tk Maxx. I got lost twice in salisbury.
I saw lots of jewellery I want, including some little glass butterflies that looked quite real, and some very sparkly earrings and a cuff...
I also came home with a lovely gift for my new bathroom. Feel spoilt.
I also have an amazing surfeit of energy! I felt good before but still feel really good now!0 -

I love this sky, I'd be enjoying looking at it.
Honestly, while a blue sky is nice enough my favourite skies are the dramatic ones. A steely grey sky with that crazy hyper bright clean light is my favourite of all, it always makes me feel somewhat.....elated. Which is good, there have been a fair few skies like that this winter!!!0 -

DD's hair is now, well, purplish. She wants it a stronger purple. I am concerned as to how many washes it's going to take to get it back out again.
Mum once turned her hair purple accidentally. She had Speech Day or something similar at school (former teacher) and applied a colouring onto hair where the previous colouring hadn't yet faded properly ... :eek:This was the storm coming into the harbour yesterday:
Wonderful cloud formations. Must have a rummage on the BBC website for that link.Trying to persuade middle son is proving a bit more difficult, as far as he is concerned, he is going to be a famous rock star :rotfl: although, me and James have finally convinced him that going to uni might actually be a good thing for him and his progression...so progress!
Far greater opportunities to get into bands and be 'spotted' ...0 -

Dh's dad used to dye his hair. He denied this, to his family but his hair turned from breaking , to sort of fake warm dark brown and eventually to somewhere between magenta and purple, but he insisted it was natural, much to his children's mirth.
I love that vanity can strike almost anyone.0 -

Were the noodles threatening to bite back? Isaac adores Wagamama's - when he was a toddler, out with OH and some of his relatives, he waved his hand across a road and repeated, "mama! mama!". Relatives thought cute little boy was missing his mother. OH realised he was hungry and wanted to go to the restaurant he recognised (-:...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
I'm glad you had a good time, LiR, and thanks for the offer of the help...
I hope you are still feeling great on Saturday. If you were to help me, though, you probably wouldn't be.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”
