Sounds like you've done rather well.
As I said, the oozing deliciousness is on the oven floor and not in the pie which has just apples and blackberries in it now. Just opened the oven door again. Eeuw. Cannot imagine anyone likes the smell of burnt jam.
It will have to carbonise and then needs a wire brush to sweep it out.0 -

There must be some still in the pie? Just less. Lively pie. Pie with a pixie in it, that's all.
Carbonised brushing.....one of the only things I miss about ranges...the true 'self cleaning' nature of ovens from food to carbon. (The other is toast) . I think my oven is meant to be self cleaning but not really sure how that works, i just clean it ( um.......when yorkie vacuums)0 -

Hope it went well.
Doesn't it normally reappear at the start of a month? Saturday is the 1st. Maybe you'll just have to wait...;)It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

After your poetic descriptions, I really want some pie now (with pixies for me please)0 -

I think it's National Pie Week next week. Where does one purchase these pixies?Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

You cannot BUY a pixie. No , no , no. You can catch a pixie, like spirit has, and bake it in a pie ( usually when you don't want it) or you can gift one or receive it as a gift.0 -

Can you imagine what I'd be like tripping
Magical pixies jumping out of pies...has someone been coking?I think....0 -
