I just kept posting and trying t relax in case it was my heart.
:(I didn't find this funny .
If you experience something like and if you are posting I would like you to tell NP present so we can support you in getting assistance. If and when it is your heart/other major organ your judgement may be impaired to make the decision yourself.
I rang NHS direct from a hotel room to get advice on how to breathe. Brain had normalised/rationalised the symptoms. I thought it normalto be unable to walk from a bed to an ensuite sink to brush my teeth. Too far I thought, thats OK.0 -

Any big update is unlikely to be before the weekend anyway.
I need to work out what to do next, as that stuff is fairly general. IE getting an AIP, survey, what insurances I'm going to need etc...
I would say AIP first (might or might not be needed for an offer; AIP doesn't necessarily need to be from the same place you end up getting the mortgage from... ), then solicitor (I found one the by the end of the week I put my offer in), then surveyor (found them the following week). Buildings insurance only needs to be in place from exchange - so I dealt with that towards the end (there was enough to be going on with!), and I decided about contents and life insurance at that point too (yes to contents, no to life).
Edit: apart from anything it was good to leave some things to do - after the flurry of activity the solicitor underway, mortgage offer sorted and survey done there was a lot of waiting around with nothing useful that could be done!0 -

I'm really sorry you are upset.
I cannot make you that promise because essentially it would be saying to me 'log off'. If I'd called any one it would have been NHs directly. I'm guessing all sorts of people have all different decisions about what to do.
Similarly, two years ago when vision went , I ....
Got up and goT dressed so that when they found be I 'd not be naked. (And put the annoying ly wet towel I'd bathed using under me for easy clean up
Edit I do agree, its not to be recommended. I wouldn't recommend my course of action to anyone. Nor would I recommend things like DNRs or going to Switzerland or whatever. But I do retain the right to make my own decisions, in the knowledge others may choose for different in concern.0 -

The posting starts to tail off after day 11 so I'm guessing that's where most people get some life back. I'm on day 8 now.

Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds and shall find me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate,
I am the captain of my soul....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0
