Video a bit further down too
I know the road well, it's very close to Slapton. You've got a Nature reserve one side and the sea the other side of the road!0 -
I think at the moment you have both nature reserve and sea on top of the road......?...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

We've run out of bedrooms, all two of them, but we have tent or caravan room if you had a tent to put up. I think tickets are a tenner.....its a fair whack tbf to listen to fir and his mates on a 'leisure' play with mainly standards. I'm not really a great salesperson ATM am I?

:rotfl:
I probably can't afford it now anyway - I think I need to get the builder round sooner rather than later. Nothing major (hopefully) but a smallish damp patch has appeared on one of the bedroom walls...
That and a hen do I agreed to go on is turning out to be rather expensive.
I think I'm just in a bit of an argumentative mood today:). Good job I have npower to channel it at. I think they've just about done enough to push me into moving supplier...
Edit: I didn't mean 'channel i't as in shout and be horrible (I've worked in a call centre), more just being firm and not just nodding and smiling0 -

*I just mentioned T Rex and Jurassic Park in the same sentence, and Isaac (who has just finished a literacy lesson) said, rather scornfully, that it was in the late Cretaceous rather than Jurassic time.
:rotfl:I know I haven't met him, but I love Isaac. I need to sit at his feet and for him to teach me stuff. I adore brainy kids and their quest for knowledge. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

He's lovely, He has a sharp mind, but a soft sweet smile. A very dear little man indeed. I enjoyed his insights very much.
Its really amazing that nice children are all so nice. You know the doozer kids are sweet too. Doozerkid1 is seriously hard working. And doozergirl the tiny (who is probably quite a bit bigger now) looked like a doll and was so brave with my dogs, and polite and just sweet. She looked like a child from a picture book but also quite like her daddy.0 -
Grrrr...
Phonecall 1: Dialled correct number, ended up in wrong dept (guess because of high volume of calls?), was supposed to be getting transferred but ended up on hold for 15 mins. So I hung up (big mistake)
Phonecall 2: On hold for so long that the 'hold musak' ran out. Then the line hung up on me.
Phonecall 3: Go through the menu again, then at the point where I should get into the queue, I instead get 'due to a high volume of calls we have shut the phoneline early'.
I'm only calling because I got an email out of the blue on Sat telling me they had cancelled my direct debit 'as requested' - I didn't request that at all. They've only just taken the first month's dd (I have them my details over 4 months ago).
[/rant]
Still, could be worse. At least I have power.0 -
Grrrr chimney brickwork in the loft was wet to the touch. Well, good job we went back for second viewing...0
