That table looks lovely. Good legs that won't obstruct anyone. I don't know how you fit people round the edges - do some people get knobbly bits?

It looked the same size a the other tables in the (charity) shop, they had.6 chairs round them. Cosy, but fine. Let's face it, most of the time I'll only need 1 chair :)
And I think everyone will get a knobbly bit!

Is it the right overdrive app?
Have you checked the list of devices that it will work with, you can link to this via library help pages for overdrive.

Well blow me, I've just checked and its no longer overdrive, it is now oneclickdigital. Who would have thunked it.

I don't mind a knobbly bit for a pretty table and good company. We have a 'practical' round dining table which I dislike somewhat, ( though like round tables the most) and an impractical solution of armchairs at the kitchen table. (Ever tried to tuck in an armchair?). But I do like that. :D

Our dining table is oval ended with straight edges. Useful for squeezing people around, but impossible to add a table to the end of it.

Your chairs look like our chairs. Got rid of the table though.

When I was young I HATED being on a separate table on such occasions. Now I'd unite like it. :D

Interesting article about how typed emoticons are recognised by the brain one way round but not reversed.

    They came from different shops.

I really wanted that table, but the chairs John Lewis were selling with it were too expensive.

I still do. They only make sense to me the right way round (-:
...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.
