The overdrive app doesn't like wma, I have adobe digital addition on the PC which does the epub format for books but doesn't want to know about wma and windows media player is no better.

Is it the right overdrive app?
Have you checked the list of devices that it will work with, you can link to this via library help pages for overdrive.

Those colours are really adaptable. I'd use green or grey instead of white or cream as a neutral. Um, in fact I do, I have a grey blanket box in the cheese room and the fire ace in the study is still dark grey (though that IS going, we just haven't agreed yet in which manner it goeth.......)

What colours were you hoping for, can they be worked with that table and have that as an eclectic colour accent?

I do like it. If it were mine I'd be wanting spiderweb back chairs with it, because I love them (i desperately want some here but i just don mt think i can make it make sense or even happy nonsense) or ghost chairs so as not to clutter up view.

The plan (before even proper house hunting) was green and purple for the dining room (wanted separate lounge and dining). The pedestal has been painted grey. I think an eccentric colour accent will work. I think I'm going to look for a random assortment of chairs that I like, rather than a set.

Whatever happens, I need to get rid of the bed that is currently there, and all the rest of the crap, sorry - treasured belongings - that I hide behind that particular closed door, preferably before the table is delivered :)

Fab! Something to put your chips down on!

Get a set of three plastic squeezy bottles for mustard/brown/red sauce and it'll look a treat

    :)

If I can do a PN moment here .... where are you going to get a tablecloth that fits?
    :P

I'm uncouth, we don't really do tablecloths in my family. Though I have discovered today that I have my very own Christmas tablecloth...

Will post a pic of my mini casserole pots tomorrow... :)
Edit: it's definitely going to be a colourful house, my parents is still magnolia from when they bought it ;)

Make one. Tableclothes are idiot-proof to make, just cut and hem.

I really like the table, Nikks - both shape and colour. Nice one!

Sounds like good lateral thinking - last night seemed like the worst wind of the year here. It is annoying as last year we spent about 65 quid replacing the spring cover and net - had we spent 100 quid on a new one then between the old and new we would have enough bits to have a whole one. The poles are aluminium and over 3 inches think (although they are hollow tubes not solid!), I can't imagine how much force it must take to bend them over and also one of the legs has been ripped off from the frame....

We spent £35 replacing the padding, that has all but disappeared. If anyone sees blue plastic coated foam pads flying over Hertfordshire, they could be mine.

My net looks intact as do the springs and at least some of the legs.

Haven't viewed close up as probably need waders to get to the bottom of the garden.

That table looks lovely. Good legs that won't obstruct anyone. I don't know how you fit people round the edges - do some people get knobbly bits?
