Pastures, please don't worry about the fences. It isn't safe to go out and look at night in a storm. If they come down, they can wait until morning.

You can't do anything tonight anyway.

Had a bit of a drive this evening, luckily I made sure I left on time I arrived before things got too bad. The wind has really picked up even here though, and e weren't due the worst of it.

Hope fir and anyone else travelling makes it back our at least to somewhere safe to stay for the night, and that everyone suffers as little damage as possible.

Has anyone heard from Wheezy in the past couple of days?

    Agreed.

You are actually in a 'lucky position' as a renter nights like these ... Its kinda not your problem. You've not kept things in disrepair or failed to inform them of anything, so if it blows away tell the agents in the morning. :)

Indoor critters and I have the sitting room toasty,(thank goodness, only half a dozen logs left!) the draw on wood burner Is horrendous, the wind is eating through the logs. All the doors in my house are rattling in their frames. Its nice, its like the house is chattering and complaining about the weather too. :D

I'm going to stay up as late as possible before doing lates tonight, any luck it might die down a little. :)

I had a long and boring day today - went to Feltham, found I was floating, and had to hang around the whole bloody day, until being adjourned at 4.15pm for "lack of court time" and told to come back on 26th March.

Waiting aimlessly like that is far more tiring than working for a living.

I'm also contemplating my diary for next week with some dismay - Birmingham on Monday (just checked train prices, HOW MUCH?!), Feltham on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Not sure which route you were looking at, but there has been a landslip on the Chiltern line (marylebone) so might be best to book a seat on a virgin (euston?) train.

What happens if a trial is adjourned to your maternity leave?

Trains on the Chiltern line will be much cheaper but go from Marylebone rather than Euston. Also, this week some train lines withdrew all restrictions for all tickets due to the whether. If they do the same next week you could book the cheapest ticket for an unpopular train and travel at any time. Follow their twitter feeds.

You cut my hair, so I get the warmest seat. Fair.

I was going to suggest that as a cheaper option. :(

Moor Street Station is stunning. A pleasure to arrive at.
