Considering you are not well, your life always sounds bloody exhausting. I don't know how you do it. Please cut yourself some slack and wash your hair another time.

Exactly. I wish I was closer so I could (try to) help.

If your scalp isn't at the itchy stage definitely not time for an emergency hair wash :)

Hmm. Many do more horses, harp e kids and a job. I definitely couldn't cope with the kids or job bit. :(

The only thing worrying me is hay really because of lifting. DH and I will spend weekend before filling nets ( which we no longer use really) which I can hang or empty easily enough. Its the actual getting of the hay. Mucking out etc will be ok. I do that once a day now, the easy end of day :o and Fridays.

I just read the short story behind the girl who series if books. Hope the 'proper series' is as good, :)

I now have an appointment with the specialist: 27th Feb at 2:30. Up front cost is $200 but I'll get most of that back from Medicare.

    0 out of 40 here.

    Not in one.:D

Nor me. I tend to assume that everyone's in a couple unless I know that they're not (eg Nikkster, PN, lemonjelly etc). Perhaps I should remember we're not as rare as I think we are.

Glad you've got an actual date now. :)
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Hmmm..he IS in a couple so if he had n actual 'date' ( without mutual agreement) I'd be disappointed in him.

    For silvercar:

My sitting room beams (another one in the mirror, Nd that cupboard door doesn't close ATM, I'm not just being sloppy)

A dodgy pic of bedroom beam ed0fa33a871f9b619238a9dc7485ecf8_zps713c476d.jpg

Same colour as ceiling is far less obtrusive IMO. If you love the beams keep them, if you feel kind of 'well, they are there' about them , than soften them with paint.

In the kitchen we'll eventually probably wash ours, so half way house. Depends on style/decoration whether this would work really. I prefer them solidly painted really.

That's because the world is couple-centric. Most advertising, promotions, everything speaks as if people are all in couples.

Couples and families..... if you're not one or the other, you might as well just shuffle off. :)
