    99 and 16.8 - is that good?

Posting your results - that's a normal NPT thing to do.

Asking "is that good" when the site already makes it clear that it is - that's just showing off! :naughty:

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.
    :)

Our Christmas dinner starts at 8.00 but we are still bathing the kids as their youth club Christmas Party didn't finish till 8 - I guess we have missed starters....
I'd have lobbed them into bed without a bath ..... and hot footed it out the door.

So, a minor breakthrough chez Nikkster. Last night I finally cleared out the under stairs cupboard. This evening I cleaned it (first using vacuum cleaner, then hot soapy water, then steam mop). I've now put the broom, toolbox and sewing stuff that had been taking pride of place between the fireplace and TV into said cupboard. The vacuum also now has a home. And I have 6p more than I was previously aware :)

This time last week I was 3 (!) Hours into my Christmas party. I think we were just about to be unleashed onto the dancefloor...

    (takes a bow)

    Thanks Lydia :)

Don't worry, there is plenty of other chaotic clutter (a ridiculous amount considering I never had a whole house before). I've also treated myself to a filling cabinet so I can lock away my paperwork. It is fuchsia pink :)

    Yes :)
Fast forward a week and I'm back in jogging bottoms and a hoodie. Tonight nicely set off with a pair of hideous yellow socks as my usual horse socks got grubby under the stairs :)

    Edit: house socks, not horse!

OH's gone out to have a quiet drink with a mate, Isaac's post-bath and having a few minutes playing with his lego before I put him to bed, and I'm wearing flip-slops and a blue jersey dress, not exactly Vogue material either!

Nice early night for me, I think - it feels like it's been a long, hard week.
