Even if the IT dept doesn't allow it, if they're not competent to move your archive then they're not competent to catch you.
Sometimes, in large organisations, it's the sheer size/volume of all the folders etc that is the issue...... not the task itself. and, ultimately, some management decision has been made that says the delay is acceptable.

IT don't decide what's done, etc, it's management that decide, then IT are told what they're doing.... and IT don't get much input quite often as "managers know best".

My darling Mama got the all-clear today from her consultant - she sees him every 2 months to check she's cancer-free, and she is. Yay!
Not interested in all that stuff about your day ...... not when you've squeezed the BEST NEWS OF THE DAY into the last sentence!!!

    That's GREAT news :)

In an ideal world, I think you sort it out slightly earlier than 31st Jan....
Deadlines are there to give us a date upon which to undertake tasks :)
If it were meant to be earlier, the deadline would be earlier.
    Simples.

Pn, fir wants to know what you are doing about the doctor, I told him you were avoiding the question......
pfft.... tax return today, now still awake in the middle of the night.

There's nothing wrong with me, I know why it happened, I can identify the only other times, ever, in my life when a similar thing has happened and what was occurring at the precise moment it happened was a LOT LOT worse/horrid than the previous events.

Really .... it's like somebody who is scared of needles - they do it too, on sight.

There must be loads of people like me who are still using Outlook 2003 despite upgrading the rest of Office to 2007 or 2010 because 2003 was the last version of Office where Outlook was included in the cheapo version for students and teachers etc.
I used to use Outlook until my computer broke and I realised how tied to the PC I was - then I started using gmail for everything. I've got Outlook on my PC, I just never use it. It's there just in case I want to look up old emails, but as I've not had to do that for 4 years now maybe I should move the file off the PC.

I used to do stuff like search emails to see if I'd ever joined a website and what my username/password were. But I've got a password software that holds all that stuff now, on a USB.

There are still some websites etc that when you click "email us" annoyingly open the default mail software, which is always annoying when Outlook starts up for that.

I use it for calendar, contacts and tasks as well as emails.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Over 20 pages to read. I may be some time. Although I do remember a NP saying we should ask for the abridged version, but I like the read. Will probably get to the end about bedtime!
