Have to say that has never been proved,

Seems unlikely. They'll have the same inspectors all year round; if you file your tax return near the deadline and you're chosen they'll investigate it sometime in the year.

It even seems possible they (the IR) might flag up more near-late returns because of the higher possibility of slap-dash returns to get in before the deadline.

If your year end is September, the tax return (and payment) now due is based on your accounts for October 2011 to September 2012, not the latest ones.

    Yes, those ones. :D

The ones in the year doozer was first here. :D

Ah, back online for the first time since Saturday evening, when we had a sudden 10 minute gust that completely boogered up the overhead power line.
Nearly everybody, everywhere, reported something similar.... slightly different outcomes, but we all had a bizarre happening.

I've accepted a random mystery shopping event later this week ..... I have to make an appointment, drive 3.5 miles to see somebody, have a consultation, sit to be sold to (no pressure to buy), then leave, photograph, do an online report .... £15. But the way things are going that'll more than double my day's income....

I should check weekly, there are some where you get fed ... if you keep looking. Only one they seem to have in my area is to go and drink lager.... don't like lager. £5 to drive 2 miles and drink a pint.... then do the reporting.

Doesn't matter how squeaky clean you are, you don't want the hassle and expense of an investigation.

You'd never fit that lot in, standing, in the houses I grew up in :)

We allowed the hospital to deliver MIL. Of course, they c0cked up and delivered her to her house, rather than ours. So DW has just picked her up.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Might as well have one sooner rather than later of they are gonna do it I guess.......

I'm rather fatalistic over these things :)

Farms and such often only make profit one year in five. I've made profit in first two years, I made some investments in this tax year in growth, and expect to this year too.

Not bad for new start u really. :)

    I corrected that for you.
