I don't think that you need to apologise to Jewish (or Moslem or vegetarian!) posters just because you like bacon sarnies. Suppose instead that you had enthused about hang-gliding, would you have felt the need to apologise to those who are scared of heights or those who are too old or frail to hang-glide?
Sometimes we can be a bit too worried about being PC and not offending.
I worked for a Jewish guy a few years back, just the two of us in the office. I used to long for a bacon and egg roll and didn't want to offend him. Anyway, he used to buy really good breakfast cereal for the office which I could help myself to so it was kinda ok.
After about 2 months I couldn't stand it any more and asked him if he wanted anything when I got breakfast. He wanted bacon, sausage, black pudding, eggs, beans and toast. My quality of life improved immeasurably after that.
I do like a bit of piggie on my plate. Salami, ham, bacon, roast pork, rillettes, pate, black pudding. Thinking about it, why don't we eat pig kidneys? We eat ox and lamb kidneys.0 -

About knee length. Tried to find a pic as only bought last week, but they have taken off website so must have sold out. It's like a long tunic as much as a dress.
I don't wear anything see through, it's just not me, but it's funny to put a pretty little vest and trousers on before the dress. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Wouldn't just be milk itself, but anything with milk in it - cheese, butter, yogurt, etc....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

Why? I mean why use a property tracker, not why has it stopped working.
Permanent curiosity on house prices; on the lookout for my mum; faint possibility of buying something else small round here as a BTL.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Needs to be more friendly - if they'd just said "No, not that bit, how about pushing that back 2', turning that bit, using this roof .....?" it shouldn't be repeated expensive submissions hoping. It should be simple:
Hello, I want to build a house
What do you have in mind?
This.....
Yes/No .... because of this bit *points*, and this bit *points* and that bit *points*
OK .... so if I do those changes, that's OK....?
Yes
OK, see you next week, with the new drawings.
Problem is that there is no set of rules on which a black or white decision can be taken, it is shades of grey and opinion. I think they approved something similar but much more invasive round the corner 5 years ago but apparently every decsion is taken on its own merits and doesn't set a precedent...I think....0 -

So if you start looking in a new area, say, if somebody else has had that loaded on their screen before, you might spot it's been on the market for 5 months and not 5 days.0 -
We have two dishwashers, one for meat and one for milk. We also have some pots and dishes that are neither meaty nor milky, and yours truly washes those up by hand in a third sink.
I read the link that was posted about setting up a kosher kitchen. To me it appeared as something in which you could take real pride in getting right, or something that could feel repressive.
I did think of Jewish NP household and wondered how keeping compliance across two or three generations worked, and whether a teenage rebellion/bone idleness or onset of dementia could undermine or spoil the integrity of it.0
