Phew! Three nights away from MSE and it's a marathon catching up with 17+pages
And we'd have said: dogs, weather, hats, gen's happy, LIR's house, Yorkshire pudding and Jewish food.0 -

That's a bit like somebody falling asleep with that sickness in the 30s and being woken up in the 60s and being offered this song as a catch-up.There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

This is a useful option and has plenty of precedent on the thread. It's also acceptable NPT protocol to read through the entire lot and reply to things that happened days ago. Depending on how much you've missed and how much time you can afford to spend catching up, you can pick either.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

I ran the compat database again, there was a problem, I ran CCleaner, I rebooted, I turned off PB, I rebooted, I ran the compact database, there was a problem, I rebooted, ran it again, it completed, I ran CCleaner, I rebooted, I ran CCleaner, I did the compact database 2 more times (both successful), I ran CCleaner, I rebooted, I reenabled PB, I loaded RM, I went to the gweek house ...... and the only history it's offering me is the info from yesterday when I first loaded it.
I've even been to the PB forums 3x to see if there's a fix, an update, anybody saying it's not supported... but no clues there.
Going to fiddle some more.... used to be "work in a bee" somewhere, that's disappeared.
Didn't know what you were talking about until I realised that PB was property bee, not photo bucket.
Property Tracker on chrome has also failed, so I suspect that either the PB people have been kidnapped by aliens or rightmove has changed their software in a way that stops it working.
May have to revert to keeping a spreadsheet list; last time I did that carolt was looking for houses to buy!I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Horses for courses though, Evernote might be overkill.
What I liked about PB was that if I did a "search everything in the last 24 hours" then it'd also show anything that had changed in the last 24 hours, so you'd see when there was a price drop and what from (or price increase as sometimes happens).0 -

Bacon for its own sake as opposed to an ingredient is unbeatable when its that you want I think...but when its a thing you fancy its hard to scratch that itch with out the exact thing IYKWIM.
I refuse to buy turkey ham in shops. I mean, !!!!!! is that? Is it turkey? or is it ham? It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

I love milk. I drink at least a pint a day alone. Plus what I have in tea.

We used to sometimes have a can of oxtail soup and some bread toasted on the fire for supper when I was growing up. Soup and toast, sitting on the floor in front of the fire.
Last night I had soup & toast for tea.
I remember as a child having toast with soup frequently. Nowadays it is almost always bread. For some reason, I wanted to reminisce. It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

Count Arthur Strong considers vegetarian sausages to be a vegetable to be eaten alongside proper sausages.
Turkey bacon, it's like carrot fish or bread lamb. A nonsense. Over here we have 'shoulder bacon'. It's disgusting, absolutely vile.
It's a long weekend here for Australia Day. The weather is filthy. Hot and super humid all day and now drizzly rain. Forecast to be nicer tomorrow and then horrid for Sun and Mon. Oh well. We're planning a trip to look at houses south of Sydney tomorrow followed by a couple of hours at the beach. Then lunch with friends on Sunday.0
