I want to 'like' this many times but there is no like function.

Just enjoy the rest from how you have been feeling.

It is great, a weight off my shoulders. Mrs Generali and the Generalissimos were away last night so I had the place to myself which made it all the better.

I may have wasted my life.

As it happens it might NOT be a problem, this evening I am sick as a dog again.

Oh no! Any idea what caused it?

I wore to Mr Bugs funeral, Philip Treacy original, black velvet, with a huge sweep of irridescent feathers across the front. If it hadn't cost two months mortgage, I'd wear it more often, instead I view it as a work of art to be appreciated occasionally.

And I'm in the middle of making a friend a lime green ( her choice ) sinamay cloche - now that is scary!:rotfl:

    We need pictures.

Maggie, I feel the need to :kisses3:, fellow hat person.:o

We have discussed hats on a previous thread. I like hats and wear one quite often in winter or in summer.

    No.

I felt really good through the day :D

I think it might actually be because I'm worrying about it all so much that's its 'gone to my stomach'.

Every day I get a little closer to breaking the rules though. t the weekend DH dug me out the juicer. Today I started cleaning dust and grime of it, and put the loose bits in the dishwasher.

I'll be alright. I broke my thumbnail half way down on my boots at the weekend (that sounds odd, but its what happened) and I keep knocking it on things.

Its a really odd side effect of the pills they put me on for my eyes that your pain threshold reduces! I swear one heave was just for knocking my thumb on the side of the loo!

I liked that hat, it's quite dull, but the brief was autumnal straw, everyday rather than flashy.

I hate making fabric hats, this is the one and only. Which I dislike immensely.

    Wow. Clever lady. What talent.

SurelY when you were a kid? To go outside and play in cold weather?

    You should get a hat.

DH is also a hat wearer. :D

    His father wears hats too.

OH wears a tweed cap for dog walking and shooting, occassionaly a large brimmed waxproof hat, but looks a bit pilgrim fathers. I bought him a black woollen beanie for in his Christmas stocking, hoping for him to wear in eastern europe/scandanavia.

For work in Summer when out on a boat he usually wears a baseball cap. He is definitely not someone I would have ever imagined in such a thing but he looks fine and quite normal. Not worn back to front or anything.

His summer hat for holidays is a panama.

Yes, my dad wears a large brimmed wax hat, pretty much all winter tbh. he HAS a panama, but does't wear it much.

Actually, I had one of them, wonder where it is?

My mother also wears hats. She loves cloche hats which.....I don't think suit her well. :o

I used to hate wearing a hat when I was younger, just felt uncomfortable and restricting. I even when snowboarding to keep my ears from freezing off i used to wear a headband

Now I find I am happy to wear a beanie as my ears hurt when they get cold and in the summer always feel like I need something with a brim.
    I think....

Now that is a beautiful house, in my opinion.
