I'm guessing the follow up email you got was auto-generated then? It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0

Hmm, I went back to check. I don't think so. It was VERY pithy but I think it was just to me, (hallmark greeting isn't what the NHs need to provide in communication so no complaint there)
I think they are taking a cautious approach. Its a shame, its something people like me could be useful for. None of my other bits will me much good to anyone now, but my blood, and probably bone marrow, are probably ok.
Vets have pet dogs as donor dogs, the NHs could put us longtermers to good use....:D0 -
lir, Mr Bugs wasn't cantankerous and dogmatic previously, his personality changed. Maybe you should worry if they become sweetness and light!:D0

I am not symptomatic to worry about mentioning any symptoms

That's them!
They can drive....... but they've no idea who they are, where they're from, or where they're going.
Might have to look at GPS tracking methods of [a] car person. Person is harder, you can get watches, but then you rely on them having put the watch on the day they go walkabout.
Obviously you're not at that stage.... and hopefully won't be. But you need to be aware of what's possible and what's in your power.
I was reading somewhere about people who get early onset Alzheimers. They can often muddle along with it until a crisis developes which often consists of travelling home from work and forgetting where they live.
Lir, this might sound a bit random but does RP have any trouble identifying things by smell? There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

Turned down to donate blood.
I was turned down years ago, so you are not the only one. I am sure that you have lots to give in other ways.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Not interested in postal donations...but if you were offering it via a bite to the neck
I don't know a lot about Altzeimers but I wonder if it is worth looking for an early diagnosis in case there is another cause with similar symptoms sauch as a mineral defficiency that could be addressed?I think....0 -

Parent has an weepy eye problem which somehow relates to sinuses so doesn't have much of a sense of smell tbh.
(Had a couple of ops for this in the past and I believe an eyelids was offered as a possible, My eyes weep a bit too, I will certainly be having the eye lift when its raised as the solution. And the rest of the face lift too. Who knows what problems a face lift could solve?;) )0 -

Well, that's interesting too. I've panicked before and it was a sugar issue, RP is a type two who refuses to control diet. I used to care but now I accept RP is an adult and its not my business.
Death by nougat is as good a way as any I suppose. Its become a bit of a joke that parent says (knowing my reaction) ' no, I want the foot amputation portion) when it comes to puddings or whatever.
I don't provide much junk but there is a 'naughty drawer' which is always being emptied and parent's car is a shrine to candy makers.
Its n.o.t. M.y. R.e.m.i.t.. If it were a sub 18 child or a pet it would be. I find boundaries hard and also find it difficult that RP buys products I find ethically difficult (and then taunts me with them ) but its a free world and I'm using that as my mantra a lot ATM. Because I want that right too.0
