One could never eat onions, another didn't like things all mashed up together .... and so you'd always start from a losing position.0 -
Well, some one likes chips, or sausages and gravy and eggs. What a great deal!0

Hm, when I lived in Manchester I learned to appreciate chips and gravy.
Never been a fan of baked beans. They are the evil result of a marketing campaign to add a healthy element to an otherwise perfect meal.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

I prefer to bung the sausages in the oven personally, freeing up a spot for another deep frier for more chips.0

But, last year I picked up something I'd never heard of before, a pastry blender. It was there, I was there, it was £2, so I bought it. https://www.pamperedchef.co.uk/ordering/prod_details.tpc?prodId=1750
I'm looking forward to making some pastry at some future point with that.
And it's dishwasher safe. Win!0 -

I quite fancy an actifry.
I recognise this as an absolute triumph of marketing.
I almost never make chips. In fact, I'm trying to think if I have ever made chips. I don't really fry much. Otoh if I'm on a mainly potato diet maybe would be nice to munc on low fat chips.0
