Tbc...I made my meat balls, and they weren't just meat. ( I do make just meat meat balls, I also make not just meat meat balls, depending on reason. :) ).
In our house you'd have had to make them with just meat. No two people, never mind three or four, could possibly have ever agreed to the other ingredients :)

One could never eat onions, another didn't like things all mashed up together .... and so you'd always start from a losing position.

Well, some one likes chips, or sausages and gravy and eggs. What a great deal!

Pan 1 - Deep Frier for Chips
Pan 2 - Frying pan for Sausages
Pan 3 - Frying pan for Eggs
Pan 4 - Saucepan for gravy.

Sausage, chips, eggs and gravy. All with maximal fat. Perfect.
4th would have to be baked beans really ....

Hm, when I lived in Manchester I learned to appreciate chips and gravy.

Never been a fan of baked beans. They are the evil result of a marketing campaign to add a healthy element to an otherwise perfect meal.

I prefer to bung the sausages in the oven personally, freeing up a spot for another deep frier for more chips.

I've never liked making pastry - it always seemed to be a great way to get your nails super clean.... which turned my stomach. I don't like touching pastry either. But, last year I picked up something I'd never heard of before, a pastry blender. It was there, I was there, it was £2, so I bought it. https://www.pamperedchef.co.uk/ordering/prod_details.tpc?prodId=1750

I'm looking forward to making some pastry at some future point with that.

    And it's dishwasher safe. Win!

I'm not so keen on spam though :)

Spam fritters, one of my school dinners, were lovely. Although I remember the batter was fatty and the spam a bit thick, I do remember that spam fritters, chips and beans or peas was a good school dinner.

    I quite fancy an actifry.

I recognise this as an absolute triumph of marketing.

I almost never make chips. In fact, I'm trying to think if I have ever made chips. I don't really fry much. Otoh if I'm on a mainly potato diet maybe would be nice to munc on low fat chips.
