If you came to ours and decluttered you could keep half of all the ebay income and have free board and lodgings.
    That's a damned good offer!

What is the confused bit - that one would give away alcohol?

Well, somewhat :) I do give alcohol as gifts to people who I know like to drink it though.

More why would they take it to school and what had it got to do with non-uniform day?

    .
That on a non uniform day at school, you'd send your kids to school with that alcohol.

About once a term schools have fundraising days where kids are allowed not to wear uniform if they come in with a donation - sometimes it is a quid, sometimes it is a bottle for the summer/christmas fair tombola.
    I think....

I'm puzzled that little kiddies are allowed to go into school carrying bottles of alcohol. I guess at that age you trust them to hand it in.

I'd not trust myself to be able to get to school with a glass bottle intact - and by that I mean unbroken. There's no way I'd be sending a kid off with one.... especially as there are other issues involved.

Umm DW or I walk in to school with DKs and hand bottles to teacher/pta person who is in charge of collecting and DKs feel that they have 'paid their due' for being allowed not to wear uniform. Problem?

    I get it, at least.

Presumably when you or Mrs S take the children to school, considering that they are still rather small, you hand the stuff over to their teacher or suchlike. It's much like taking anything in for the summer fete - the stuff gets there, including alcohol in the tombola, because it was donated.

It might have been your turn of phrase that makes it sound so exciting :D

I just remembered I haven't replied to your pm, sorry. I shall tomorrow :o

I think it was just the way it was phrased. My bad for bringing it up, sorry.

We just had to take in £1 or something like that.

Really desperate to tell everyone I've sent the kids to bed with their nightly can of Stella.
