My brother showed me this game over Christmas. We both love geography. It is one of those games where you will go "huh, what's the point?" or it'll be the greatest thing since sliced bread. No middle ground. And if you do get addicted, you'll become an expert on the flora of Australia, road markings in South Africa and the key street signs in Brazil...

Best for people who have been to places. I've never been anywhere, so unless it's photos of my street I'll not have a clue where it is :0

This has just caused a lump in my throat and brought tears to my eyes.

A family cyled past ....a primary age son on a brand new bike, dad on his bike with a fixed bike attached to it. The fixed bike was also brand new and bright bright pink, it looked custom built as it was a trike with special seat and head/foot rest. The trike being 'ridden' by a primary age girl whose posture told its own story. Their faces were beaming.

This took getting kids a bike for Christmas and then taking the kids out on their christmas bikes to a whole new level for me.

Normal for them I expect. What planning, what effort. There are some truly great parents out there. Well done that mum and dad.

Made me think. Well done Sue.

    Love these sort of things

I have been playing a few days longer. My current high score is 16024, though one of the places I'd been to so I could narrow it down vaguely and another was the boat ramp to Fraser Island which is not far from my cousin's house in QLD. Fluke rather than skill I think...

I have just been trying to find out on my local council's website whether or not I can recycle wrapping paper. Apparently the answer is no. I was somewhat bemused though that if I had read this before Christmas, they'd have been suggesting that I wrap my gifts in brown paper, or buy people a tree instead. Bah humbug!

That's a lovely story Spirit. So glad you told us, it feels like my hard heart has just had a mug of Ovaltine.

Yesterday 7am the recycling bin was emptied. OH had put it out after walking ben the night before and seeing neighbours bins out. He did not think to include a xmas tip (I usually do).

Our neighbours obviously did not tip either as our gardens and verges were , liberally sprinkled with cans, wrapping and paper.

We are half a dozen neat cottages, there is never litter or overflowing bins (we had taken our bins contents to the tip pre xmas). Two lots of our neighbours are in the late 70s/80s.

What were the bin men thinking of? They are so traceable - set route - assigned crew.

How do you get to be malicious like that?

OH, an unassumng non complaining type has emailed to complain .... and he has cleaned up the road.

Is now a good time to mention I've been playing it with a 1 minute time limit Hamish?

What is the going rate for bin men?
