One of my favourite films is on TV - Up. Guaranteed to make me cry (as does E.T.). Bit late for a reminder, but if any NP haven't seen it I would definitely recommend it. The first bit pulls on the heartstrings, then in the second bit there is a taking dog. What more could you ask for?

Oooppsssss.... sorry. I don't tip mine now they are different all the time. Not with it today.

I rarely tip. I've only ever had one waitressing job for a couple of months. Other than that I've worked in offices and shops where you don't get tips (regardless of what you earn) :o Oh, and Laboratories -definitely no tipping there!

I'd consider more seriously the tip for our bin men if they bothered to collect my bins reliably. I've given up on the recycling box entirely as its so hard to drag out there for them to not bother to collect I'd rathe take it to the tip myself when it suits me.

What is the going rate for bin men?

A fiver or 4 cans of beer.

Postie got £10. We know him by name and he is excellent.

Definitely not kids, as there are more bin men around here than kids.

My postie gets £10 as does paperboy, gardener will get some beers, cleaner got paid a weeks wages without having to clean (so didn't lose any money by not working) + some chocolates. Bin men haven't been tipped yet, problem is we are the first road on the route, so how can I leave something with out it going missing overnight?

I know a couple of men who have married images of their sisters - scary and one who has married a younger version of his mother - even more scary.

I do wonder if these people had such happy childhoods they want to recreate them. Maybe people just get to look like each other after living in the same environment and eating the same foods for decades that they start to look like each other and therefore their siblings. Or maybe it is self love and they look for someone who is the opposite sex image of themselves.

One of OH's sisters has married someone that is similar to OH. We are amused by this as he doesn't get on that well with this sister.
