We are just back from Christmas Hymns by Candlelight - most of the Hymns were fairly obscure - not sure if it is because I grew up CoE or because the choir had gone out of the way to select obscure ones. Then drove home past some of the less restrained christmas light houses for the kids.
And PN I am working till 5 or so on xmas eve (what time do the trains stop?) although not back then till the 2nd.
This weekend looks silly busy, loads of activities and present wrapping and christmas shop to do. If the weather is not to bad tomorrow I will put up the icicle lights and may do an outside picture, also need to get the kids in their santa hats and do a photo to send to al our friends/relatives who aren't here.I think....0 -

But the Tesco shop arrives two hours earlier than the fridge.
Your problem will come when the fridge fails to arrive due to weather/a problem/a problem with the van/etc.
But, if it's cold enough, a lidded bin in the garden will do. You can get some dustbins that have metal things at the side that flip over the lid handles so it can't be opened except by a human.

Mind you - I saw Jamie Oliver in the week and what he did was took the turkey out of the oven, then covered it in foil, then in some tea towels and said his mum used to use a big towel to cover it .... and he "rested" it like that for 2.5-3 hours. So if ONLY the turkey fits in the oven, at least you can cook it first, then know you can cover it safely while the rest is cooking.0 -

I'd also have a long length of chavvy tinsel across the mantelpiece and down each side0 -

Ah....
Defo room in the new fridge. Almost certainly not in the old one.

Handy hint PN, thanks muchly.:T“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

Most of my very modest (apart from the disco balll) decorations are um, full frontal, so no pics, but I'll get the tree some time. I have tried but it doesn't come out well. I need pn's chops really.
Attempt....0
