I signed it yesterday and posted it on facebook. A lot of my friends have signed and shared which is good.
There definitely has to be a change in the lawThe world is over 4 billion years old and yet you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie0 -
Signed. Absolutely disgusting the sentence they were given, should be made to suffer the same as the poor puppies did.0

Signed and shared on fb.
Barstards should be locked in a cell with their pleas for food ignored.DONT BREED OR BUY WHILE HOMELESS ANIMALS DIE. GET YOUR ANIMALS NEUTERED TO SAVE LIVES.0 -
signed. I cannot believe those sentences. but then, cruelty and violence never get as long sentences as 'crimes against property or money'. Judges seem to think its ok to murder or rape or use violence - but god help you if you 'steal'!0

Signed........I won't write what I really think.Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.0

Signed, disgusting human beings.
They should be bricked into their cell and left to rot.The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

That's exactly my thoughts. A family let 8 puppies die and they only get a fine. If one of them had shoplifted they would probably be in prison now. Why exactly do judges and magistrates tend to give much harsher sentences to any crime that involved money? The world is over 4 billion years old and yet you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie0 -
Got loads of my friends to sign too.The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Food, medical research, disease, unsolveable behaviour problems and overpopulation are good reasons.
Its not about seeing animals as equal to humans, and I've no idea why these discussions always go down that road. Its about acknowledging that animals are capable of feeling and of suffering, that humans are capable of treating them properly and that we have a responsibility to do so.
I find your post very contradictory and unfathomable.
It's 'ok' to kill animals, sometimes, you say but you also acknowledge that animals are capable of feeling and of suffering?
Yes, they are capable of feeling and suffering - just like 'us' - so why should one be killed for the other - for ANY reason?*Look for advice, not 'advise'*
*Could/should/would HAVE please!*
