Does anyone else have an OH who thinks they know everything?
:mad::mad::mad:
Sent 4p into loft today to Christmas decorations down. Asked him to find the Crackers.
'We don't have any' ???
'Yes we do'
'Nope - we used them & there isn't anything else here labeled Christmas'
:mad::mad:
I KNOW we have crackers........
So I play Martyr & start finding cardboard loo roll middles as I will now have to make them!
Any way I find we missing lights for front window & state there must be another box up in loft
:T:T:T Crackers found:D:D:D

I've amazed myself this year. I found my crackers in the loft in a carrier with a note attached which read " Do not crush. This bag contains crackers":T
Also found a Champneys big red box. Think they started off at £50 in a Boots last year.

I'm as British as Kevin Costner's Robin Hood. :eek:

I ordered a Samsung paddythingmebob (brain shrank ... like an ipad) from Carphone Warehouse, £99 paid by American Express so will receive £15 credit.
They have sent me 5 order confirmations.... hope I did not press the purchase button too many times! pmsl100 -

You’re awkward. You’re easily embarrassed. You’re sickeningly polite. You’re as British as they come!
I got this :eek::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I have crackers of the pulling and eating variety coming out of my ears this year.
Found new box and few odd ones round mum's besides the new box I bought earlier in the sales this year forgetting already had some in the loft. :rotfl:

My previous post is the first time I have opened up at all on the forum and well, you all made me cry, with tears of gratitude! I feel so much better now - the power of the elite
Yes, lists have been made already and actually it has given me something else to focus on rather than my mum. I have a lot of problems with my memory anyway (suffer from fibromyalgia among other things) so lists and I are very good friends.
As she sounded much better today I am now going on Tuesday so I can take her to the cemetery as it is anniversary of my brother's death on Wednesday.
I find cooking quite easy (famous last words) so it should be quite routine and if they don't have everything, they will know what to do.
My partner is very grateful as is his mum so that makes it easier to do. And as a final addition, my partner's ex is suffering from early onset Alzheimers.
So, thanks again. Head up and feeling better.
Do you think we should be able to bottle the power of the elite ?? Just think what we could cure
