I get this all the time...sometimes you just want to grab them by the arms and give them a good shaking

My mum is getting the hang of it now, I remember ages ago she went to a T's which had the magazine in (our local didn't have it), and she got two . TWO. What good is two to man or beast :wall:

What is even more bewildering is when someone refuses a coupon from you when they have the product in their trolley. That's happened to me a couple of times:o

    Newts so queer as Rolf

    I'm leaving that in:rotfl:

    I need help!!

Please tell me how I have agreed to cook Christmas lunch for seven including my partner's ex-wife?

Only asked today so said yes.

This is in addition to trying to help look after my 87 year old mum 100 miles away - stayed for two weeks, back on Thursday off back to hers tomorrow, back here on Sunday etc etc etc

So I am yet another one with a poorly mum. Took her out last week and it was the first time she agreed to a wheelchair - a real eye opener.

And finally, I am not well either.... don't I sound pathetic but it is all getting a bit tough

    Pauline

Sorry, to sound so down but I am simply tired!

You don't sound pathetic at all Pauline it sounds like you are trying to do the best for everyone. Is there anyone you can lean on for a bit of support hun xx

thanks I've had some good advice :)

Just be very thankful you don't have any of the Elite living close by. A flash mob would arrive, rearrange your cupboards, fridge and freezer, do a stock check, make you a suggested menu list and a potential shopping list divided up into the cheapest stores and probably arrive with armfuls of assorted glitch items and generally be very bossy until you were back on your feet again

I did an experimental shop with the Christmas Puddings that were on £7 BOGOF but were in Asda for £3. I was hoping that it would compare!

But it said I did not buy enough items!

    I bought:

    Value batter
    Xmas Pudding x2
    Dumpling mix
    Bread
    Brown onion
    red onion
    carrot
    sugar
    orange juice
    granny smith apple

on the ones that did compare I also bought the carrot and red onion but they did not compare!

Hey ho.. the puddings will be lovely x

can you please give me more info on the Xmas Pudding :) x

:(broke my back doing glitching
