Anyone know where the quidco daily bonus thing has gone? It used to be on the homepage :(

(the one where you unwrap a present)

Was it just for the first 12 days of December?

You can win up to £50 bonus cashback from selected merchants

    http://www.quidco.com/home/

I won £2.50 at Waities. Pah!

It's on for 9 more days so check daily :money:

  • Brilliant suggestions thanks :), he's got the majority of those but I love the voucher idea so deff going to make some of those, I might use the laminator at work on the QT to make them look fancy :)

What about a cordless screwdriver, pack of paint brushes and a list of jobs you want doing round the house / garden. Laminated is optional as is a pen to tick them off.

Battery charger & re chargeable batteries (Poundland had these too),

Candles, matches for romantic nights in. Baby oil for massages.

A list / book of promises for him to chose when and where, this could be as long or short and daring as you wish.

    Box of kids cake mix

    Can of his favorite pop

Box of cereal, Santa always brings breakfast, my kids used to get the Kellogs mini variety box or two in their stockings, the Nestle ones are slightly bigger

Chocolate coins or Chocolate Santa or even a Selection box (Bogof in Tesco until the 17th IIRC.)

Mug with box of tea / coffee / hot chocolate sachets.

Beano annual for the child in him or a book / magazine of interest, or even a subscription.

I'll stop now, but could go on.
  • our new home has a bath so instead of salts going to get some Mr Matey bubble bath
You can make bath salts yourself quite easily, it's basically just Epsom salts, ordinary salt (coarse type), oil, essential oil (for the smell, something masculine like sandalwood, cypress or any of the 'woody' ones), baking soda ; you could always add food colouring, too, maybe in his favourite colour or his footie team's colours?

Another really good idea is some home made gift vouchers..
But you can do it with your own jokes and add in little sub clauses e.g. 3 hours with the remote control must be booked 4 days in advance and cannot be taken whilst Emmerdale or Coronation street or any other "special" programme is being broadcast.Valid from one use only from 25th Dec 2013 to 8th Jan 2013. Not valid Sundays. Cannot be used in conjuction with any other offer. This voucher is the property of Savvy Sal and has a nominal value of £0.01p.
You can spend a little time thinking them up and making them personal to you.
I did something similar to this a few years ago for my GF at the time, a mixture of silly and saucy ones, but them in a container so it was a 'lucky dip'; you could have a voucher day or coupon night, when OH gets to choose one; add a made-up barcode to the gift vouchers, to make them look more authentic; for a laugh, you could always 'trout' him when he picks out the first one, tell him it's not valid or it won't scan or whatever:)

  • I need help!!

Please tell me how I have agreed to cook Christmas lunch for seven including my partner's ex-wife?

Only asked today so said yes.

This is in addition to trying to help look after my 87 year old mum 100 miles away - stayed for two weeks, back on Thursday off back to hers tomorrow, back here on Sunday etc etc etc

So I am yet another one with a poorly mum. Took her out last week and it was the first time she agreed to a wheelchair - a real eye opener.

And finally, I am not well either.... don't I sound pathetic but it is all getting a bit tough

    Pauline

Sorry, to sound so down but I am simply tired!
