If you post the link into the message panel, and add a space somewhere (say, after the 'http://' bit) so it doesn't recognise it as a link, post that text, and I (or some other kind soul) can post the link for you ... (assuming that's allowed?)

I get this all the time...sometimes you just want to grab them by the arms and give them a good shaking

My mum is getting the hang of it now, I remember ages ago she went to a T's which had the magazine in (our local didn't have it), and she got two . TWO. What good is two to man or beast :wall:

My sister now and again goes to sada. She now phones me up before she and her oh go to ask if there is anything that they should be buying. She was lucky and got the coke last week. They took their son and he said."we are not going to get arrested, are we?"

Made me laugh. She also picked up a womble with 42p on.

    I need help!!

Please tell me how I have agreed to cook Christmas lunch for seven including my partner's ex-wife?

Only asked today so said yes.

This is in addition to trying to help look after my 87 year old mum 100 miles away - stayed for two weeks, back on Thursday off back to hers tomorrow, back here on Sunday etc etc etc

So I am yet another one with a poorly mum. Took her out last week and it was the first time she agreed to a wheelchair - a real eye opener.

And finally, I am not well either.... don't I sound pathetic but it is all getting a bit tough

    Pauline

Sorry, to sound so down but I am simply tired!

Wow Pauline, You've got it going on :( can't you rope some of your guests into helping with the lunch? If they know you're unwell yourself and you've been looking after your mum, they'll probably be more than happy to help.

You don't sound pathetic....just worn out. You need to try and slow down and ask for some help where you can. Your mum is more important than Christmas lunch and you won't be much good to her if you're in a heap :)

You sound like a brave lady......to have your partners ex for lunch  asking everyone to chip in will be a walk in the park compared to that ;)

Evening all, blimey what an afternoon I've had.
I started the hideous job of cleaning the oven earlier, as I emptied a bucket of dirty water down the sink. The floor suddenly got soaking wet. (No I hadn't peed myself :D) the sodding u bendy thingy had broke and the sink contents were spewing all over my floor. I was in a right flap :o:rotfl: I rang my mum who sent her other half over and he fixed it together for me. Not before I had to completely bleach all my floors though.
10 minutes after that I heard a crash from the front room and ran in to find my little monkey had nearly impaled himself on the Christmas tree whilst trying to nick a chocolate :rotfl: I could help but laugh :D, he's ok but the tree defo looks a bit squashed.

    Afternoon all

Not read back yet but ds2 has just asked for boxers.
Doubt I will get lucky but what was the deal the other day please.
I know I looked but didn't bother as none had been asked for then.

Those of you the enjoyed the Great sewing Bee there is a follow up gift making programme on tonight on bbc2 at 8 pm.

Hi VT, the boxers you want are the firetrap ones
    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4841990

£5.99 for a 2 pack. The p+p is a bit steep but the t shirts, hoodies and jeans are a great price and are worth a look at x

:rotfl: it's not too bad on the NE side of London, yet.

Thanks, and to everyone that sent wishes :) My Mother is definitely on the mend now, one of my brothers called and jokingly asked her 'to describe what underwear she has on'.

Her reply 'none, that's why I have dandruff on my feet' :rotfl: I love learning filth from the master :D

Best wishes to your mam PD, she sounds very similar to my slightly nutty mother :D

Savvy sal- hope your mum is on the mend x

You will be tired with all of that going on:o

ooh bless you Pauline, I think I would delegate the task of cooking and caring to the ex-wife whilst you get drunk, very very drunk. You deserve people to look after you, not the other way around!

I think you need to slap your hubby (I am assuming it was him who asked) and make him take you on a great trip in January xxxx

Hello. I'm still having on and off internet connection problems. Tried the 'trouble-shoot' tonight and it told me my modem was having connectivity problems and to reset it by switching it off for at least 10 seconds and then back on. Well I knew that much:(:(.

[Waits two minutes for connection to come back:(:(.]
Before I get cut off again, just to tell you I'm intending doing another Morries 'price glimpse' on Wednesday (18th December).:)
