  • I like white metal and sparkles to would wear it and like it. At 25 I am just starting to 'grow out of' hearts though... I used to have lots of it but I am aware it makes me look about 12 so unsure on them so consider her age I guess

I think they look quite pretty. Having said that I wouldn't wear the earrings as they annoy me (they both go the same way and look unbalanced!)

The necklace is fine for an evening out, but I'd prefer something simpler.

    I'm 50 BTW.

That he'd completely lost his marbles. I'd be furious and offended if he'd bought me that as a) he knows I don't do jewellery, b) I definitely do not do lovehearts and c) that to me it looks cheap and nasty. Looks is the important word here. Some stuff is cheap but looks lovely. Some stuff costs a fortune and looks like it came out of a Christmas cracker and some stuff is cheap and looks it.

  • £19 for that thing is daylight robbery, it looks like something off the market.
Public appearances now involve clothing. Sorry, it's part of my bail conditions.
  • Personally I like it, but I wouldn't buy jewellery off of groupon. I would go into the jewellery shop and they can show you lots of different jewellery sets that don't cost the earth and then you can ask more questions and find out what each set is made of, etc. Good luck.

Sorry, I don't like it, but then I don't wear costume jewellry. I do wear silver, but the crystals would put me right off.

The question is, are you buying it because she will like it, or because it costs £19?

I am 30 and terminally single so whatever my opinion is worth?

I think it is really pretty and a thoughtful gift for a gf.

A wife or long term partner may not be so impressed.

Just as a follow up to my original question.
We were out shopping together yesterday and came across one of their shops. My other half quite likes the bling look but I thought it all looked like cheap tat.
Also the sales assistant said it was tougher than silver but not to get it wet lol

I would guess that if you get it wet and it begins to look tarnished, then polishing would take the gold plated finish off.

  • I have seen nicer hearts (if you like a heart necklace), I am not keen but it is all down to personal preference! Happy Christmas!
