That he'd completely lost his marbles. I'd be furious and offended if he'd bought me that as a) he knows I don't do jewellery, b) I definitely do not do lovehearts and c) that to me it looks cheap and nasty. Looks is the important word here. Some stuff is cheap but looks lovely. Some stuff costs a fortune and looks like it came out of a Christmas cracker and some stuff is cheap and looks it.
