I'll add this to the daily thread since we've already got a thread on this going in the freebies board. That way people will still see it on here rather than having to merge it back into the freebies board.

Morning all – or is it afternoon? Slept all night which is great for me but I still over-slept and didn’t wake up until 7.30 and have spent the rest of the morning playing catch-up. What with still feeling out of sync after the trip away, I just seem to be running round in circles!

AMIE – hope you are having a wonderful time and that the weather holds off for you!
KYLE – thinking about you and your LO
DONNY-GAL – not long now – those five days will whizz by!
CATOWEN – my WM developed a smell a year or so ago and I called into my local WM repair chappie to ask for advice and he gave me a sachet (I think he called it salts) which did the trick. Have you got a local domestic appliance shop near you you could try? Have a look in Yellow Pages.
SCUZZ – I know exactly what you’re going through! My last job made me feel like that and, in the end, I just said ‘that’s it, I’m going!’ My boss tried to keep me on and made all sorts of promises about changing things but he only made half-hearted efforts so I had to go. I have since heard that everything there is as bad as ever so I was right to leave. Good luck with the job hunt!
DLB – hope you feel more rested soon; there’s nothing worse than feeling tired all the time.
    NIGHTOWL - enjoy your holiday!
PINK-WINGED – remember me to France next week! I’m missing it already!
JACKIEO – Good luck at the hospital this afternoon.
DANNAHAZ – I think you’re very brave using a chainsaw! My DH won’t let me near his!
MRSMCAWBER - have just ordered my jug – thanks!

Well, should go and do some housework now, I suppose, thought I don’t much feel like it. The ironing pile is doing a very good impression of the Alps we drove through a couple of weeks ago! Dinner tonight is steak (cheap deal at the butcher’s), sautéed potatoes and salad followed by something I haven’t decided on yet!
The weather is not too bad here at the moment; it has rained a bit but for the moment is dry with the occasional single ray of sun!

Well, can’t leave the chores any longer and I need to decide what’s for lunch – oh, yes, cheese on toast, I think!

Lots of (((hugs))) to all who need them and will call in later.

Afternoon all and a wet one here. (((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))) to anyone who needs them............Scuzz, I can only echo what others have said, you need to rethink your job and your relationship..........you deserve much better.....doormats get trodden on, you should be doing the treading!!!!!!!

Had a card through the door to say there was a parcel at the parcel office, so we abandoned our plans and went to collect the wire bath tray I ordered, then on to Jessops to have a look at a digital cine camera, have not bought one, I would like one to take when we go to the US, wanted to price one up. We also went to Aldi for some cereal bars.

This afternoon I need to have a clean up, have almost finished clearing out the dresser ready for its trip to its new home.

We were just coming away from Aldi when the heavens opened and it teemed down.........glad we had taken our rain coats........it is a bit brighter now, but still raining.

Have given away some more strawberries, I think what we collect tomorrow will be the last, do not think there will be many more.

    Have a good day..............

Thriftlady, I have just sent Penny-Pincher!! a text and will report back on here if she responds.

Scuzz, I'm glad you didn't take offence at what I said. The thing is, you're an intelligent, capable woman and you've got no reason to let others mistreat you. It sounds to me (from lots of things you've said over the past year, not just re your job) that you would do yourself a world of good if you worked on improving your self-esteem.
