I'm back,thank you for the welcome Habibiboo, and only today when I went for my script, I saw eucaliptus oil in Lloyds chemist also at a couple of squid, it's kept at the back of the counter.£71.93/ £180.000

:wave: Hi Hbbb! I read your whole diary and found it very entertaining, although I did have to skip over some parts due to my very slight phobia about your garden inhabitants (childhood trauma I think...) Much more comfortable with the passion fruit!

Why thank you Jodles, it's lovely to "meet" you and I appreciate your comments. I'm still trying to convince Mr Hbbb about it but think I will have to settle for it as a daydream! Thanks for subscribing, lovely to have you along. xgetting-sorted-sarah wrote: »:wave: Hi Hbbb! You read it all ... my whole seven months of trying to get on top of all things financial? Thanks for your dedication to my cause, much appreciated.
I'm a bit sad though because it obviously means you're not up to your neck in packing for your move ... not another hiccup I hope? Will try to catch up with your thread over the weekend for an update, but in the meantime thanks for popping over, it's lovely to "see" you!
Hen-related trauma eh? Doesn't sound too good. I'll try to keep the hen stuff for the blog, don't want my hen news updates to turn your visits here into an awful trip down memory lane! X

MFW actions:
* NSD
* Student money in so small account shuffle to account for costs and other bobbins, total MOP of £100 made.
SMASH day 54 / 100 = £ 2,458 / £ 3,000Grey Clouds:
None, blue skies all round, in a very simple kinda way.Silver Lining:
Rep from another local language school came round and signed us up straight away. This lot have short trips all year round except for Dec / Jan so we're pleased to get onto their books. They also pay more than the school we're currently with and put up your money if you get good feedback from the kids staying with you, so could turn out much better for us!Daily declutter:
Mr. Hbbb incinerated pile of garden carp and old fence bobs this evening to clear end of garden a bit. Will count as 1 so 241 / 365.Simple pleasures:
* Dinner al fresco in garden for second evening in a row.
* Really pleasant dog walk down park this evening - must remember to restart putting on my pedometer each morn so I can try to resume my 10,000 steps a day as have been too chained to work to do much of it and it's starting to tell on the old body!
Hope everyone's OK! Big hugs to those who need them ... Friday tomorrow :TStash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

Your passion fruit plant looks amazing. I'm afraid some of my stuff has suffered from lack of watering (eek, hangs head in shame). I do have a number of tomatoes ripening though, some on a bush plant which is about 7ft long? Someone switched the label I feel!
I'm pleased you were signed up straight away with the other language school, every penny counts.
Have a fab Friday

Goodness Habibiboo, I'm losing the plot.
I just read your post about Friday tomorrow and thought 'no it isn't' - whoops, where did today go?

Thanks W*S ~ tomatoes sound amazing, ours are just starting to redden too. Sounds like we'll all be having lots of tomatoes on our frugal menus shortly! xAlchemilla wrote: »Is it edible passion fruit?

The interweb oracle gives mixed reports Al, but I'm going to be blogging the experiments to see if it is possible to have some kind of edible, frugal harvest from them (may test on Mr. Hbbb first)! I'll let you know how we get on!Tilly_MFW_in_6_YRS wrote: »Goodness Habibiboo, I'm losing the plot.

You're right Tilly, I've also been on the wrong day all week and even had to double check again before putting it in ... I think my excuse is that Mr. Hbbb broke up on Weds so he was behaving Friday-ish and it's thrown my week up in the air!
Hope you have a great weekend! xStash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

So, all's well here and another beautiful day although it's feeling sticky and stormy again!MFW actions:
Friday "books" and account shuffle allowed a MOP of £50 so ...
SMASH day 55 / 100 = £ 2,508 / £ 3,000 yes, another ridiculous number which I may not be able to deal with until next week but at least the other accounts are all nicely rounded!Grey Clouds:
I can't claim a NSD, because ...Silver Lining:
I took a cheeky half-day today and took Mr. Hbbb on an end of term treat. I used half of my Love 2 Shop vouchers from RM surveys and we went to a nearby town which has a Cafe Rouge and had lunch courtesy of RM!
I ended up spending though because I successfully purchased a couple of items on my need-not-want-anti-mosquito list:
* Eucalyptus oil (£2.29 from Lloyds Chemist ~ thanks Boult and Watty)
* A pair of white linen M&S trews in charity shop to prevent sunset nibbles (almost new bargain at £3.99 ~ thanks Toots).
I now smell like I have a cold but I can live with that!
Am pleased with the excellent results of a pretty frugal day, especially as Mr. Hbbb accidentally [STRIKE]got shoved[/STRIKE] fell into Monsoon so I had to go in to rescue him ... and we both came out again without spending a penny, despite their sale!Daily declutter:
Nowt, too busy!Simple pleasures:
* Gladys is not letting Mr. Hbbb's presence put her off her morning promenade around the garden ... she even jumped onto his lap when he was having a contemplative moment in the sun whilst I was working :rotfl:
* Taking time out together.
* Introducing two students to the good old english concept: the spud gun and watching the fun unfold ~ Mr. Hbbb included ... it was like Jeux Sans Frontiers out in the back garden for a while!
Hope everyone else is all good. Happy weekend to you xStash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!
