Like the concept of the sneaky treat afternoon, and spud guns are an inspired idea. It sounds like the new student company is a V V good opportunity. Looking at your signature........please tell me that you aren't knitting in this heat!0

I like looking round shops like Monsoon, but even in the sales the prices often seem too high
Several months ago I applied to join a RM thing, where you have to post various parcels, and get rewarded by stamps but never heard anything back.
Was that where your Love 2 Shop vouchers came from, or was that something different?Early retired - 18th December 2014

Hope the bugs are biting you less now you have all the potions and smells to use. Do bicycle clips round the ankles of your trousers work to help keep the pesky critters out...?! Just a thought! I'm sure it's a look you would rock!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

You've reminded me that I must update my signature this week though as I have several things to add on!
Yes, the new student co would be much better especially as they're most of the year round ... we'd only have to do it for a couple more years as part of the MFW quest if we could get some regularly from them ... and maybe then to help with an extra income to put towards pensions etc!
Hope you're enjoying the weather in your garden! xGoldiegirl wrote: »I like looking round shops like Monsoon, but even in the sales the prices often seem too high

Hi Goldie, yes they are from RM but not part of the receiving / sending survey ... I've done 2 x 6 months of that but am still on their data base so I get invited to complete other surveys (monitoring correctly delivered postage) & in return for 2 weeks of logging the post you've received and whether it was actually for you or door stepped or not, you get a £5 L2S voucher.
Even though you can only do the main survey for 6 months, you're still eligible for these extras so it's worth trying again ... I applied several times before I was accepted, I think it just depends how many others in your area are doing it at any given time. xapple_muncher wrote: »Hope the bugs are biting you less now you have all the potions and smells to use. Hmmmm bicycle clips, why didn't I think of that? Don't think it would do much for the face and arm bites though, perhaps I could wear them as bracelets and earrings? :rotfl:
Two new bites today from dinner al fresco but I think my immunity is building up as they don't seem quite so itchy as the others (or it could just be that my blood is now pure antihistamine)!
Hope you're having a good day. xStash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!
