6) Focus on Freecycle: target 5 larger clutter items from garage to go!
Let the fun commence!
Will dedicate tomorrow evening to catching up with threads, tonight I am all-in and off with my hot water bottle to bed! xStash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

Thanks Goldie, yes, loving it. I love it even more when the blueberries come out and I can stroll up the garden and pick a handful to put on my muesli (especially with the price of organic berries in the shops)! xStash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

I hope everyone else didn't get the same washed out bank holiday weather! How miserable is it out there today?!MFW actions:
NSD, store cupboard tuna pasta bake for tea!Grey Clouds:
Wet weather!Silver Lining:
Worked for 6 hours then started on little bedroom with Mr. Hbbb. Achieved today:
Ceiling washed down & painted (Mr Hbbb's job as resident tall person) whilst I ...
Wood work washed down and sanded.
Built in airing cupboard washed down, sanded and painted.
Radiator washed down sanded and painted.
Mr. Hbbb also refreshed bathroom ceiling whilst he was there ... I was nearly moved to tears, I think the emulsion was getting the better of me! (boom, boom) :rotfl:Daily declutter:
Nowt out of house today but charity bags and 2 items from Freecycle list due to be collected tomorrow.Simple pleasures:
* Flock of great tits came down with their babies to enjoy the bird feeders. Lots of very high pitched squeaking had smaller dog very confused ... he thought someone was playing with his squeaky cake toy!
* Painting easy flat surfaces like built in airing cupboard. Have told Himself I feel inspired to paint a Muriel on the door; he told me to resist at all cost! Don't know what's being said about my artistic leanings there! Will darn knit me a hanging then!
Hope everyone is OK xStash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

Such energetic goings on! I am inspired. Well done to you both.Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -
LOL at being overcome by emulsion.0

Wow! Amazing painting! Especially after 6 hours of work. Team work, eh?
Am guessing your 'will darn knit me a hanging then!' comment refers to a herring...? When does it all have to be knitted by? Hope the weather's dry for the bombing.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

Ahh yes, team work ... remind me to tell you a little story about Mr. Hbbb's modem moment!
I'm thinking possibly not herrings in the bedroom, as it'll mostly be used by 17 year old SD who would appreciate them about as much as her dad would appreciate my inspired Muriel! Nope, am thinking more yarn based tapestry like a "knit to fit"wall hanging!
Herrings, seagull and net hut all need to be done by mid-July. That's just three more herrings, a seagull and a net hut to go then!Stash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

Well a cold and miserable one here ... have actually put the heating on, arguably to help the paint dry but in reality it's because I'm sitting here in two jumpers and I'm still cold!MFW action:
0% B@rclayc@ard CC arrived today. Cash is already put aside so aim is to buy £100 worth of birthday & Xmas presents by August (already know what I will be getting) to earn £25 cashback and keep the cash in my account for longer, thereby off-setting mortgage's evil 4% for a tad longer!
The cashback is credited to the card apparently so that will be a free £25 towards Xmas, my sister's birthday in Sept or my niece's 18th in December! :TGrey Cloud:
Old CD player broke completely so had no music to decorate to today, not my style at all!
Opened brand new tin of paint to start skirtings and it's like water! Stirred it up but apart from a bit of gum (like blob of chewing gum) on end of paint stick, now oomph in paint at all. Mr. Hbbb will take this back tomorrow on his way to his speed awareness course (:rotfl:) but painting schedule for small room now running behind. Although ...Silver Lining:
2nd coat to cupboard and radiator done; 1st coat to inside of door and door frame done.Daily Declutter:
2 items picked up by Freecyclers, so total = 164 / 365. Charity bags were put outside but not picked up, so I phoned them and they will come back tomorrow apparently!Simple Pleasures:
* Gently and diplomatically setting a client straight about how to treat people - and having them agree with me!
* Feeling a bit grumpy (hence blue rather than purple today, just 'cos I can) but not having to go "into" a work place and play nicely, I can just be here and take comfort from the garden, working at home and getting things done!
Hope everyone's OK x

I have put the heating on at some point for the last three days, sitting in jumpers a scarf and bed socks in May was truly depressing! poor school kids what a miserable half term. I am in awe of your painting prowess, you are making so much progress.
I too would like to get in the garden but that is now very unlikely looking at the weather forecast.0
