    Grr to the dozy ebayers.

I shouldn't moan really, A ... I ended the day with an extra £43 (before fees) and will be decluttering a few bobbins as a result of it

    Hope you're all good!

;)Today's MFW actions: checked in on mortgage account and made sure that water and council tax payments (that would have gone to said utilities) have gone into mortgage instead! Approx £240 OP just from those ... happy days!

:(Today's grey cloud: have a chunk of work to do on a client website but the "back end" link they have sent won't work and they aren't picking up their messages, so I can't access the site ... and it's supposed to be in tomorrow. Not getting it done this evening has thrown everything awry for tomorrow as a result. Lesson learned: never trust a back end link, my friends!

:)Today's silver lining: small bonus and chance of extra work from a different lovely client!

:pDaily Declutter: local courier man picked up a Fleabay parcel (ref: black cloud of last week thanks to RM)! 23/365

:DToday's simple pleasures: hyacinths on the dresser coming into bloom and smelling lovely!

:oToday's act of complete ridiculousness / comedy moment (perspective depends on whether you're me or Mr Hbbb watching proceedings from the house):
Mr. Hbbb popped me down to GP when he came home, to get a prescription renewed. It was well into dusk when we got back so I toddled up to hen house to put my girls to bed. Tripped over shovel lurking in the shades of dim, sideswiped into side of the run, which knocked the structure, which wobbled corrugated roof, which tipped ice cold water down the back of my head / neck and right down inside my clothes! Result: OH wetting himself laughing, me just looking like I'd wet myself from top to, well, bottom!

Hope everyone else is safe, warm and most of all, dry! X

:pDaily Declutter: persuaded Mr Hbbb to part with a few more "just in case" bobbins from garage [STRIKE]man-cave[/STRIKE] total 22 / 365

:DToday's simple pleasures: having a lie-in! Mr Hbbb got up to see to hens first thing, my rewards for thrashing him at cards t'other night! It's all good!

Very productive weekend Hbbb - chucking out Mr Hbbb [STRIKE]rubbish [/STRIKE]"bobbins! :D AND getting a lie in courtesty of Mr Hbbb ;) - well done :T

Just popped in to catch up. All sounding good despite storms :)
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Yes, it's often inspiring to find out what others are doing with such bits and bobs! The irony is that I was kind of saving it for the same thing, but, in order of significance: Mr.Hbbb was moaning every time he tripped over my carefully stashed box of treasures in the garage man cave; I just don't think I have the talent (OH also pointed out there are sharps involved and I have a cartoon-like tendency towards clumsiness); I just don't seem to have the time! So, it's gone to fulfill its destiny in much more expert hands than mine!
We live that story (to the letter!) so many times over in the PM household. :rotfl: Including the clumsiness, I'm banned from so many household activities now. :o
. yours is a lovely thread P*M, no rambles but lots of useful and helpful thoughts! However, whatever you need, just borrow away P*M, borrow away! If you're going for the Full Structure Monty, may I suggest "stationery status"' "knitter natter" and "daily diagram" sections for your thread too though, to keep us readers up to date with your projects as you've now got us all on a need-to-know basis ... that is to say, we need to know!
:rotfl: :rotfl: Those might have to be bi-weekly updates, but I'll endeavour to keep you updated at every turn!

I'm so late in catching up with all the fun, but:
Desperate situations call for desperate measures, GG, I strongly suggest you break the seal on the emergency glitter glues, gel pens and sticker stash!
    :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
have started to do monthly coffee morning with committee of friends, each time at one of our houses to avoid expense. Had lovely time and great catch up - we all used to work together but now are all in different places except for 2 of them! My turn to host next month!
What a lovely idea. I used to do a meet up evening with crafty friends way back in the day, something I should probably restart - it's so easy losing track of people and before you know it several months have gone by., :o
Working away at my desk just as the hands of the clock were heading towards noon. I had the sense of something sneaking up behind me so I turned to see my two faithful hopeful hounds standing behind me, tails wagging with a slow synchronicity which was extremely unnerving, seriously, they were doing a doggy version of the creepy twins in The Shining. I could just tell they were thinking "come and play with us, forever!"
    :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I'm going to begin another post, this one is surely getting a bit long. :o

Postage... tell me about it, RM have lost the plot with it all recently, haven't they? Such a nuisance, I actually like little trips to the PO, I don't know what I'm more annoyed about, that I'll be missing out on little outings or the insane charges. :rotfl:

Well done on the decluttering, you're going great guns! :T

Hope today was a little less water-logged. ;)
