  • Hi guys, I signed upto eBid this morning, I am a old ebay store and I too am fed up of the new rules and silly fee's. I am now taking my business elsewhere. I am also thinking of EKM?? and a bit of good old fashioned advertising in local places.

I just hope eBid if it gets bigger will look after its customers better than what eBay does.

I am a little worried that eBid might not be able to cater for my product :-/

I'm a little fed up with ebay and the service provided by the ebay staff (if you call automated replies to e-mail service!!) and would like to know about alternatives such as Ebid.

Especially from those who have used Ebid, is it reliabale, fees etc..

    Thanks

The one trouble with Ebid is that the sellers truly believe in charging top money and this frightens people away. What it will take to get people to move across is to get loads of 1p auctions up and running. Yes, sellers will take a hit to start, but bargains bring customers so in the end this will lead to larger profits.

    That's right..

The site has a large number of sellers who sell very low cost items like cigarette cards and other cards that people collect.

When the charges are added those sellers could find themselves selling at a loss or they will have to move on.

The adapted Ninja Lister on eBid has already been used and commented favourably on recently so this could make a move from Delcampe to eBid a lot less hassle.

  • Hi,
I am also a ebay and amazon seller.
I sold for 10.000 GBP in a month and i would love to know if ebid is as good as ebay and amazon.
I am fed up with ebay stupid regulation.
(they remove me a listing again)
    do you know why?
because i was selling a tooth from a mammoth fossils.
it has been removed because mammoth produce ivory!
it look to me that they dont know that mammoth are instinct and that fossil = stone.
    this is juts insane !
I would love to see if ebid has a lot of buyers?
I have listed for almost a week now, and i havent made a single sale.
when on ebay i make regularly 4 to 10 sales a day.
    any advice?
