Glad you're keeping busy without the TV!
Guess what? After all my saying to you that I never hear from them, we got a lovely courtesy (aka "fishing") letter from the TV licence bods to say that although "you have told us that you do not have a television" they'd like to remind us that if we are over 75 then we might like to get one and have a free licence for it!
How kind, shame they didn't check our d.o.b and see that we've still got a way to go before that freebie kicks in!
I absolutely agree with Butti - highlighters rule, as a teacher I was known as the source of highlighters and post-its for all in need as I personally can't function without them!
Totally recommend the return to uni thing by the way, these chances come by for a reason so if you have the chance to take it and it won't throw the old finance malarky off-kilter too much, then it sounds like an excellent plan!
Lots of luck with it ~ and hope your head and throat are feeling a bit better so you can enjoy the old festivities a bit!

thankfully i can get access to people that have been on the course, i have phoned the uni to speak to someone regarding the course, her answer machine and i get on well.. she has yet to either listen to it or phone me back
Well that's good advertising for the course/institution concerned.went to the opticians today, as expected my eyesight is perfect, so the optician was not interested in helping me find glasses or something to help with the photo sensitivity issue but did suggest that i carry on with my blue blockers maybe add some red blockers in as well and some polorized lenses also ... so three pairs of glasses for someone with perfect eyesight ... wonderful
All you need are green blockers and you'd have the full set.i have also to use eye drops more often and spray my eyes as well as he thinks the blurryness etc is coming from tired eyes ... this was ofcourse after i told him thats where it was coming from ...
And people wonder why alternative therapists are so popular.all the massage stuff to the cupboard under the stairs so that i can get access to it when needed...
Is that where the dungeon is as well?all the home brew stuff thats under the stairs to the garage ... the garage cleaned out so that i can store firewood ...
Try to store the firewood outside, under a cover of some description. It will be heaving with insects.i cancelled my overtime as i have this migraine that i cant lift... i also feel yuck ... just really run down sore throat etc ... yes its a loss of £120 and that £120 could go a small way into making a dent on things ... but i just aint fit for it just now ... mentally or physically ...

For the first week or so, I'd get in from work, sit down and reach for the remote control. i did that today for the first time... reached for the remote and turned the tv on ... for some reason we still have channels 1-5 thankfully a thing came up on the screen about the smart card and then i remembered ooops we dont have a tv now ... and turned it off
After that first week or so, I quickly lost interest in TV programmes.
it was an automatic reaction ... i was bored ... interesting how something can become to intrinsic in a life ... i am enjoying not having it though tbh0 -

finally got a hold of them, as expected its the best course ever and i would be perfect for it ... meanwhile in the real world .....

the red blockers are green in colour lol
And people wonder why alternative therapists are so popular.
yep ... great fat lot of good help i got there
Is that where the dungeon is as well?
it is if you want it to be:D

were planning on having a few piles .. one with wood for cutting up one with cut up wood ... one where the wood is getting plenty air ( but under cover so as not to get soaked) and one in the garage so that it stays dry for us to use
Gotta take care of yourself of you'll be having even more time off.
have enjoyed my few days off and dont want to go back tbh ... but we aint won the lottery yet so...0
