I was planning going to America in either May or September. It now seems I will be going in December which has thrown the whole thing in the air. Should I just go for 20th December and follow up with a trip to Cuba (one of the places on my list).

oh dear me it seems i have forgotten this thread again, well i did my speech, it went down well
Have been up to my eyes in uni stuff, have a paper to hand in and another exam to do before going to the next placement, did a wee summative assessment last week, reckon i have passed it so thats good.
Financially wise things are plodding along, nothing exciting to report tbh but slowly the debt owed is going down and slowly the money for savings and retirement is going up.
Think I am really at the plodding along stage, you know the bit where nothing exciting is happening but its a very important unexciting time, the part where you look back and go ... that was a slog but a worthwhile one.
Plans for this week ahead are finish my current stint at uni so that i can finish my paper and get ready for placement, my next placement is an exciting one, I have worked in a similar dept in another hospital so I know what to expect, and basically that is no breaks constant constant working for 13 hours but learning loads0 -
Oh and for anyone that was friends with me in facebook ... well facebook have decided they no longer want me using their program so i have been kicked off ... my heart was broken ( aye right) ... its been quite handy to be honest as i had been thinking of taking a long term break from it, but that decision has been made for me now0

nope... i have been having many a conversation with politicians on twitter though, me and a certain MP had a good 6 hour argument about expenses, It seemed to be popular with many people lol

Tbh I had been trying to come away from it for a while so it had saved me the bother tbh
the reason i was given ( well i think it is a little bit more complicated than this ) is that the book of faces only allow real peoples names to be used, and apparently the name i chose ( some of you will know it) was not real...
Now there is a wee add on however, I had just finished a wee convo on a debating page where i had to point out someone was in fact mistaken, the truth is it was a down right lie, however, i did not state you little liar, instead i came back with the fact and highlighted where i sourced it from, ten mins later i was booted, now i didnt swear, i was not aggressive, I approached the subject matter in a kindve, yeah i can see why you would believe that as it is easy to believe, however when we look at xxxxxx and xxxxxxx and then think about xxxxx then we can see that there is some mistaken belief that yyyyyyy is in fact the case,
oh dear ... such a shame :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
