I have a UGE meeting tonight, with Scotland having a moratorium on fracking just now we have a wee bit of breathing space to find out exactly what has happened, check and see which Mp's, Msp's. Councillors etc have replied to our letters as well as find out who got to meet with their politicians, and then gather all that info and move forward.

At these meetings we always bring the food bank collection, a wee donation for the hire of the hall and a wee biscuit or two, I found last night cost us £10 and tonight will probably be a wee bit more as we have to drive further so maybe £12 or something, Have spoken to husband about this before regarding money but it seemed to have got lost in the proceeding buzz of phone call, letter writing etc that took over, I have however put it up on the board so we should remember to talk about it and set a budget for it all, we can only give so much time as well as so much money and need to find out exactly how much we are both willing to give.

Went to our meeting last night, Mr El didnt find it as enjoyable as previous ones, before the meeting even started we had a woman approach us with a political party agenda, I think she assumed we are members of a certain party, we are not, so whilst Mr El deflected for a while, when the individual went too far I interjected and as anyone that knows me will attest to I can interject in a no nonsense way, poor person didnt quite understand what had hit them I think, then during the meeting Mr El brought up the subject of CCS ( carbon capture systems) and this seemed to cause some issues.

The end result whilst it was interesting it was not something we think we want to be involved in, it came to a head when we were in Pizza hut getting our dinner at 10pm, we had just dropped a friend off and went for food, picked up the food and headed home, I said to Mr El "This reminds me of something, I wonder what" whilst both of us knowing exactly what. Got home and said look we need to talk.

Two nights in a row we had been out, one night it was cheese on toast for dinner at 10pm and one night pizza, this cant go on, it is costing us too much £30 for last night and £10 for the night before, Mr el totally agreed with me and I think with the bitter after taste left in our mouths from the evening I think it cemented for us that it isnt for us. Now to get Mr el to remember this as no doubt he will sit back for a while then not be able to help himself again.

so £30 spent last night, not good but a reminder that we have to keep on top of things.

Tilly tidies done for the day, weekly accounts up to date, still trying to get the W8-BEN form sorted, some new information has came out about the company I had intended on buying shares for ... so share price has risen I may be too late for those shares, but can always get the W8-BEN form sorted for another time I spose.

Pension money sorted for the month ( was quite a busy day yesterday) the money put into my usual funds so thats good.

Nothing else much happening as we have been so busy with the various groups, I have informed the community farm I may not be able to help as it appears it will be more of a northern venture.

The fireplace should be picked up tonight, not looking forward to getting that out of the house, it is very very heavy they are bringing three men to lift it into a van but i fear that three wont be enough, and lifting it into a van is going to be a nightmare, however, once it is all sorted it's £320 in the bank so that is good.

I have my speech tomorrow night so practice time tonight between getting the fireplace sorted, practicing and visits from a friend it's going to be another busy night again

Thats a lot going on, El! I feel for you ... and abandoning your own life, and your 100 month plan, isn't good either. At least the fireplace will be gone this evening.

    Good luck with your speech!
