Ed is all excited
Excited/nackered, it's all good0 -
So yesterday I got my ninja secret stalker clothes on, tied my hair back into a no nonsense ponytail, picked up the son and future daughter in law, an hot footed it via car and fast legs to Glasgow centre, waited in the queue from 12.15 by 1.15 they had to close the queue, and eventually at 2.50 got to chat to my hero we chatted for a wee five mins, he cracked a good few jokes and gave away tickets to the guy in front of us who's sister had to leave to go to work ( poor girl was gutted when she had to go, I'm sure when she found out she had tickets she would've been over the moon)
I'm still smiling0 -
So today is the eclipse, if it is anything like the last one I am really looking forward to it0

Very cloudy in Glasgow, doubt we'll see it. Still, going outside for 15 mins regardless (not to look at the sun and blind myself, but for the relative novelty of temporary darkness)
Glad you got to meet your hero, that must have been great.0 -
It truly was Ed
Aye I'm in class at 9am so probably won't get out for the important bit, but hope to see it from 8.30 till 9
Hope you get to see it0 -
Aww, glad you got to meet your hero :j
I was in and out of the house for ages trying to see if I could see it (its cold out there!) Rubbish whole sky is covered in smog, as advertised by DEFRA
Did anyone else see it?2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
I saw it for the briefest of moments through a light white patch of cloud in the midst of a huge bank of grey clouds! It was pretty cool, very sci-fi and would probably have been a far more romantic moment if a) I wasn't standing in the work car park and b) it had lasted more than a second.
That last comment sounds inadvertantly seedy....0 -
