Hey everyone
Hi Miz Hi Kc welcome both
Ladies and gentlemen I am exhausted utterly exhausted, physically, mentally and emotionally exhausted ... Tonight I had to fight back tears at the thought of coming into work, I said to Mr El I ain't doing any overtime in February ... I'm finding I'm too tired to cook so have wasted more food in the last two weeks than I have in years and that gets me angry, my house is a tip, I have no energy to clean ( although I did manage to clean my son's house all last weekend 10 hours each day)
I have no energy for my organising of the garden, eating right, looking after myself anything
I'm obviously trying to do too much, I'm trying to balance money for these fires, paying the visa, paying something off the mortgage, retirement planning, holiday money and saving for going to uni ... In doing so I am neglecting my health and well being, we go to Tenerife shortly and I was so looking forward to going walking and sight seeing but I get the feeling I'm just gonna be sleeping
Anyway that's my moans over with now so where am I financially ? Well the new RDR rules have made the stocks and shares a more interesting world so I am slowly learning about charges, which is something I've never really bothered with before, so whilst I have a lot of learning to do and choices to make ultimately it will be for the benefit of our financial health
Went to visit an IFA last week ( after a night shift ... I was out ma face on coffee and gibbering at 100 miles an hour lol) he is going to be having a look at my current pension arrangements and we will discuss where to go to from there
Right gonna try and catch up with some diaries for a wee bit ... I see Kc has a new one
Oh Z looked up ammo thingies, they look ideal but not sure if they are big enough ... But I think I will get one for other things ... Thanks handsome0 -
Evening El, sending you one of these :grouphug: as we all need one occasionally.
You sound pretty kn@ckered but no doubt the holiday in Tenerife will help and even if you spent a couple of days catching up on sleep, there will still be plenty of fresh air and walks to be had.
I laughed when I read about 100 miles an hr and the IFA - he must have wondered what hit him :rotfl:

Hey El - take care of yourself - none of it is worth your health. That holiday sounds perfect - and so what if you spend some time catching up on sleep? Hang out, sleep, relax, do a bit of sight seeing - but listen to what you need out of it.
And breathe....
Here's another dodgy hug :grouphug:0 -
Another dodgy hug here, xTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:
:money:Sleeves up folks.:money:0 -
And another dodgy hug coming along :grouphug:
Seriously, El, feeling that bad isn't worth it, nothing is. How long till you go to Tenerife?
I *do* have a new diaryand I'm babbling on it like you wouldn't believe
:o:o
You sound like you're really rushing to fit everything in, and still not really managing to do it. We can all only do so much - I could fit in much more of the taxes work each day than I actually do, but I hate it so much I have to factor in lots of avoidance behaviour :rotfl::o
Sleep well.
PS - I must get to grips with this RDR stuff. Off to the pensions board.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Ah Pet you sound really done in. Your health is really important, don't forget that.
