Beautiful work on the bedroom - huzzah. I also had some playing with YNAB pots
Re auto-immune things, I know you're not your sister or your Ma but do go easy on yourself. These things are real, and part of successful management of the situation is not over spending your spoons. As I'm sure you know!0 -
I think you are Super Girl! Wanna lend my spare cape? :rotfl:.
I know what you mean about being put in a box and letting 'illness' own and label you, but I'm sure you'd be the other way round. It might be worth having a diagnosis, even just to be prepared and for Jelly's sake incase it affects her too.
Glad the sickness is gone. Lasagne and banana bread sound awesome XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hey hohum!!
I know what you're saying about the spoons, but I mostly, stubbornly try not to apply any spoons at all to myself. I don't set limits and I find it better that way. Even if I 'overspend' them on a daily basis, and have to slow down for half a day or so, I find the time to relax, or the pills to pop to make me feel a bit more normal and carry on. I am 100% not against being diagnosed or labelled, but it's kind of a 'well add it to the freaking list then' mentality that sees me through. I've more than enough labels.
You know I once filled out a health questionnaire, and ended up crying with laughter... It asked me first of all if I thought I was Extremely Healthy, down to Option 5 Extremely Unhealthy. I chose Number 2 Very Healthy and moved on through the questionnaire. The next one was a list of various illnesses, asthma, eczema, etc etc etc in order. I started merrily ticking away at the boxes, and all of a sudden, with a few left to tick, a pop up box came up, warning me that 'You can only select 5 options'. :rotfl: so I guess in their eyes maybe I wasn't so healthy after all, but 99% of the time, I feel great and so I carry on in this way. I'm a lucky girl. I will always make sure Jelly is ok
Lucky I have no words for what you are. Superhero just doesn't cut it.hope you get some sleep tonight hun.
Had lasagne and chips for teabit different to yesterdays mountain of veggies but just as good. Jelly has a cold and is being a bit of a monster. If she wakes up poorly in the morning then she may not be going to nursery. She could barely talk when I collected her this lunchtime. Have kept her olbas oiled, vicks rubbed and calpol'ed up all day along with tixylix honey & glycerin
I am at work in the morning and this bums me out more than you could know. I have Thursday off, but most of my day will be eaten up getting to and from the hospital.
I was going to make bread today but have got 2 loaves in the cupboard and enough biscuits to last a lifetime so decided not to bother until the weekend.
Still not done YNAB yet. On it nowxx

Ach! Lilty - I have given myself another kick up the bum. I have no idea why I am feeling *outta sorts* today, but I've no where near the number of calls on my time, energy and nervous system that you are currently dealing with. You're coping admirably (although I wish that you didn't have to). I'm normally a *get up and get on with it type* - hence why I'm a bit flummoxed by my wobble today. Best get an early night methinks.
Super gal indeed Lilty, super gal indeed

Wow Lilty that bedroom is lovely! Please come and do mine now. Thank you.
I'm sorry to hear about your health issues. I am the not so proud owner of a chronic illness so I understand feeling poop a lot (literally, in my case, since it is a poop related illness :rotfl: sorry if TMI). I have been really lucky this year as it has not been too bad but I wake up every single morning feeling like I'm ready to go to bed
Soooo tired. There isn't anything they can do about that either.

Greying I popped in to say Hi & check you were ok. Glad you are feeling better today flower
never nice feeling out of sorts!! We all have those days!
GAP :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: ah you fit in right here. There's no such thing as TMI in my world, unless it is my mum speaking in which case she takes the biscuit with graphic repeated descriptions until even I feel a little bit:o Lol!! I am so sorry. I am guessing the illness starts with an I and ends in BS which is the perfect letters really. Not a pretty one at all. I've a friend who struggles badly with it, and as such is a lady who shares a lot, including flying past me to the bathroom on her way in countless times, shouting "BRB gotta go!!!" :rotfl: she's a skinny minnie for it now though but all the avoiding takeaways etc.. so bad.
I know the tiredness well. I put it down to being a mum
Jelly not any better but nursery took her in today to join all the other snufflers. She is so covered in Vicks & Olbas Oil I can smell her from my bedroom!!
I have had several good things happen today
#1 Work is done and I now only have 2 days to go whereas usually at this time of the week I would be gearing up to 3 days,
#2 Ontrees who I have a free account with which allows me to view all of my current/credit and savings accounts securely in one place, rewarded me with a £5 amazon voucher today!
#3 I was told by NPower that I have currently got over £170 sat on my account in credit - so when they finally sort out my meter reading dispute with the new supplier in a few weeks/months, I should get a super credit back for my macbook fund
#4 Work sent the dreaded 'Christmas Meal' email. I knew it was the evening of the 19th which is my last day of work, and assumed it would be local, but it is in Canterbury. Instant £12+ train fare to me and a lot of travelling/walking in freezing winter conditions. Also it didn't give me enough time to get home and changed before I had to be out again so as to be on time for the meal. Boss called me in and advised that it was very optional this year and if I was struggling she could collect me and take me there (but not bring me back) but she wasn't sure what my childcare situation was and f it would be feasible with Him etc... It isn't really and I have been looking for a way out so I DECLINED to go!! :j:j:T This also saves me in purchasing an 'outfit' to go as I really never go out so have nothing to wear! Realistically has saved me about £45 min
My cold is liveable. Only an issue early morning and late afternoon onwards so fine to work through. Of to bed soon though.
Oooh forgot!! I also fixed up YNAB!!I now have shiny pots! £400 in the laptop fund, but my emergency savings are looking small! Nvm, I now officially have £3600 in my regular saver! It's FULL!! It kicks out early January and I intend to start it again. I class it as a 'bill' and make other savings besides this as this money is untouchable for a year!
Off to sleep. Night peoples xx

You really are an inspiration and this was a lovely post to find first thing this morning. Don't ask me why but I woke up thinking about your thread this morning!! Xx:j I belong to Mike's Mob :j0

Morning Lilt,
Lovely post and lots of lovely things to be grateful for yesterday!:j Very happy for You
As already said, I can't picture you ever letting an illness define you, so much healing/management of an illness is based on positive thinking and that is something that shines through from your pages. Sad for your sister that she can't see what a lovely person you are and how much it could help her to have that sort of positivity. Her behaviour is very attention seeking.
Glad that Jelly is back at nursery even if still a bit snuffly. Re Tiredness - I can't remember a time (since having kids!) that I did not feel tired! All for a good cause I say.
Love that you got out of the Christmas meal. I have yet to approach that one with DH - whole family is invited to his works do, but nice as it is I think it might all be a bit awkward as he has just handed his notice in, and the main man didn't speak to him yesterday:(
Its crisp cold sunshine here today - very mood boosting after yesterday. Wishing you a day full of sunshine

Hi guys
Billie how bizarre. My ears should have been burning hmm?Hope you're having a lovely day? And didn't suffer nightmares last night? :rotfl:
NOA what a lovely quote. I am a Pooh Bear fanhave been for most of my life. I loved the stories by A.A. Milne. Still do, who am I kidding.
Jelly was not very well at all this morning. Very clingy and wanting to be picked up and snuggled, from 6:20am. So yet again, third week in a row she has missed 1 day of nursery. Hopefully it means she will get better before Monday without further assault to her immune system
I know what you mean about always being tired. It is just a natural thing once you're a mum. You never sleep quite as deeply ever again do you?
 Yikes on your Christmas meal. I would in no way be going and taking the family to that if there was going to be an atmosphere! Yay to DH handing in his notice though!!will be much better in the new job!
SO.. I am sat at work and I most definitely have a cold. I am hot & cold, running a temperature and my ears, and chest hurt. My throat is very sore and my eyes are watery. I am not firing on any cylinders at all today. So tired. That said I have to complete at least some work today as yesterday was a bit of a washout and today is shaping up the same. So I am working through lunch and trying to get at least some things off my to do list! I think I will be going to bed when I get home tonight.
Tomorrow I have the choice of a train & a bus, or just a bus which takes longer, but by the time you've factored in waiting etc, I would have to leave the house at the same time for either, and the bus costs much less. SO I think I will take my iPod and listen to music and sit dozing off on the bus rather than manically hopping and jumping from transport to transport. I should still get home in order to enjoy a work free afternoon.
Doubt I will be around tonight so better pop in to my December challenge and mark myself in for the day and then get back to work.
Laters guys xx
