Ada.ways a lovely read. Kelly's bedroom looks lovely perfect for such a delightful little girl. I had a friend whose eldest whose to ask for her nappy to be put back on for a poo, but she eventually got the hang of it. All my boys were easy but then they were held on potties from newborn and it worked for me but each child is different be it potty training, reading or speech!! Just enjoy her. I am no expert as I only know from my nephew (not any first hand experience) but he kinda told us when he wanted to potty train. If that makes sense.
He started off like Jelly is just now, wetting himself then going to the toilet and then he just started shouting about it before it happened (right right before so there were still accidents).
Now the only time he has any accidents is when he gets too excited whilst we are out and won't tell anyone in case we stop having fun. (at the park, etc).
I don't know how helpful this will be but I thought it might help you feel a bit better knowing that someone else was successful having the same issue as you.

Room looks fab - well done you. Hope Jelly enjoys it . Agree with others re potty training; every wee one [no pun intended!] is different and as long as theres no pressure from the nursery then I'd leave it till Jelly 'gets it'. She's a bright button and I'm sure the penny will drop in time. Have a good week0

Hello boys and girls!
Thanks for the encouragement. I am sure it will all work out in time. I have been feeling a bit poorly and as it is unexplained and very bizarre I am feeling a bit stressed and worried about it. To explain it, I have had norovirus. It went round the house last weekend and I didn't fall ill so it was something I thought I had escaped. I may just have been incubating it. I haven't felt so ill in all my life as I did on Saturday night. I very nearly passed out several times. I was bathed in sweat and my hair went from freshly washed to greasy in the space of an hour because I was so ill. However, a shower later once the horrific hour was over and I felt much better.
Phew I thought.. and ate my homemade tandoori chicken which was amazing. I had a few hiccupy moments over the eveing but it was at about 8pm last night that the pain started to kick in. For 10 years now I have a
struggled with an unexplained illness that always starts around October and ends around April. First one, then the other bicep in turn swells up and goes hot and cramps, especially overnight. I get to the stage where the pain is so excruciating I can't sleep and end up lying on the arm to make it go dead so I can sleep. Nothing has ever helped it. It switches arms just as it becomes so unbearable that I think I may go postal and cut my arm off. Over and over year on year. It has been controlled with my new back medication finally, and aside from the original bout it has not repeated until last night. Swiftly followed by aches and pains in my wrists, ankles, then knees and finally today my elbows joined in. The kind of pain that made me remove my socks as they are too 'heavy' and feel like they will snap my feet off. My wrists especially are hot and slightly swollen and awfully painful. I've never had such a response to anything ever. According to my mum it seems like an arthritic response. Even my muscles between my ribs hurt when I breathe. It isn't fun. I have had a flu jab so it isn't flu!
I am left contemplating the awful idea that the unspoken disease that blights my dads side of the family has reared its ugly head in me. It is something I have always know my arm was linked to, but it never got any better or worse. So.. here it is. I may actually have to go and be tested for Lupus. And if it isn't that, then it is most likely Fibromyalgia. Screw that she says. I prefer my undiagnosed 'purple hair don't care' gung-ho style of dealing with it. Thus today I fought through it, went to the supermarket, bought amazing scales and a loaf tin, some bits and bobs and came home and made homemade lasagne for the first time ever and it is GORGEOUS. And I baked a dairy free banana loaf which is 2.5lbs for Jellytot. She won't eat all that, but since it is a roaring success I may eat the other half a loaf
What else? Got £60 coming from TCBand £25 or so from Quidco when they pay out in a few days. All to the laptop fund.
Oh and I disastrously overspent the grocery budget. £250/£130.:wall:
Must sleep. Back briefly in the morning once I have got Jelly to the nursery. Working Tuesday booso I can go to the hospital to see the pain management specialist for my back
I might get some steroids injected into my spine
Night peeps. Sending Lucky my love, and anyone else who needs hugs today xx

Oh Lilty, poor you, that sounds awful, so sorry you are in so much pain. However do you manage to do so much decorating - along with everything else - with your back pain? SuperSuperGirl
Don't mean to nag but you should get it tested sooner rather than later. I have a second cousin with Lupus. Tough one to live with - she is so tired all the time, but at least if they do confirm what the condition is they can help you manage it?
Just seen the picture of Jelly's room and it looks gorgeous - WELL DONE You!!:T:T Lucky Jelly to have such a wonderful mummy.
Lots of Hugs

Morning NOA! (again!
)
Thanks for the lovely words on the bedroom. I am so pleased with it, and will be even more so when she has new carpet and a rug and maybe some bunting up to match the walls. She loves it
I am feeling a lot better this morning than I did. Back to a more normal level of aches and pains. You remind me NOA that I just spent 3 days up a ladder last week and so maybe it is this that provoked such a firm reaction to the virus.
I have dealt with the idea for the last 10 years that I may have Lupus due to some of the problems I experience. I have a lot of symptoms my Mama had, especially during the colder months. I know it seems odd to not want to be diagnosed, but my sister started with Fibromyalgia 4-5 years ago now and again the symptoms correlate with my own. My sister is the polar opposite of me. Where I get up a ladder and paint for 3 solid days, she has relaxed swiftly into a wheelchair and an encyclopedia of illnesses and enjoys being the sickie. She has cut us all out as a family because she lies wilfully about her childhood and whenever I, or any of her childhood friends called her on her lies she got very embarrassed with her new online friends. So she cut us all out. What I hear, I gather from twitter posts from 'friends' of hers, as she has a private account.
I am in no way Super girl or anything like it. Save that for Mrs H who deals with genuine issues everyday, and still brings up 3 fantastic children, fighting through to do the best for each of them. The same with Mrs Lucky, who boggles my mind on a daily basis with what she copes with.
This morning I got up with Jelly, showered her, and got her into some very warm snuggly clothes as it is FREEZING here, quite literally. She ate a very banana heavy breakfast, homemade banana loaf with a banana and her vitamins, and then I took her off to nursery. Will pick her up at 12
This afternoon I may try to make some bread but I am not confident in my dough making skills at all. Just made a donation of £10 to the Trussel Trust for the foodbanks. It is coming from my laptop budget but after the cashback that is fine
I forgot but my NP0wer final bill should be in by 12th December at the latest. Hope that has some lovely credit I can apply to the lappy fund.
Off now to play with YNAB and switch savings back from July when I started all this up to now, so I have some proper 'Pots'. What a lifesaver this software has been.
