Lilty/Apple, I have LOTS of furniture re-arranging to do tomorrow, so please drop by, I'll provide, err....kelp cakes? (thank you Octonauts for that inspiration
). Ooh - which has just made me think of something - you can make little 'muffins' or pastry-less quiches by mixing up some eggs & milk, pouring in muffin cases in a muffin tray and adding lots of stuff like chopped up ham, meats, spinach, mushrooms etc - whatever you like really. They're lovely to eat cold as a snack and can be frozen too. May help a little.
Thinking of you today Lilty and make sure you take time out as planned. And exactly as you said, screw work for a little while, you do more than enough for them. Sending hugs xx
Hi Ruth :hello: lovely to see you posting, we're a friendly bunch here at 'Lilty's house' so please do stick around.

Hot water is where it's at apparently...having boiled water with a teaspoon of (Sbugs Basics
) honey and a chopped strawberry in - OMG, it's heaven.
Followed by worst hiccups ever and a massive belch later  I am much more ladylike as a rule - that was off the richter scale :rotfl:
Presumably no caffeine in green tea? Another substance to avoidBack on the DFW Wagon:

I'm sorry about your Pops.
Good luck with the migraine diet!

Wow... Hello Ruth!
Firstly, your staying power in reading my gibberish is phenomenal. It amazes me that people ever read through my gubbins so thank you so very much for that.
Secondly, I am sorry that your social anxiety so affects youthat makes me very sad but all the more appreciative of your effort to contribute, so thank you again. I am feeling rather honoured!
Thanks for your thoughts. I've got the diet headache now so must be doing something right
As Me&O says, we are a friendly bunch so please do pop in if you feel you are able. If not, I can assure you the diary just keeps on ever extending so give it a couple of days/hours and you will likely have another 10 pages to read!! :rotfl:

Me&O I am so there, though maybe not for kelp cakes!! The egg muffins you describe are something my mum is a mega fan of on SW so she will be handing me lots of recipes I am sure!! Have to steer totally clear of milk though
Ali - the green tea does have caffeine in it, but it is a welcome part of my diet. If I notice it affecting me in any way related to weight loss etc then I should cut down but not cut it outThe green tea holds a lot of anti-oxidants that will help yours truly concentrate and be more energetic so I am told so I am sticking with it for now!
Honey and strawberries are both HUGE no-no's am afraidthat sounds lovely though!!!
I did indeed take my 15 minutes out. As I sat down there was a Euro in the secluded little spot I picked. I have taken it as a sign from Pop that he is sat somewhere in the south of France enjoying himself.
As I came back in my mum and my sister text me simultaneously telling me the service was over and that it went fine. xx

Just popped in to say I'm really glad you found time in your busy work day to escape the madness & think of your Pops. Sometimes being at peace with your memories is as good or better than going to the actual funeral.
Take my hat off to you with this new 'diet' you always sound so positive about everything especially Purple Jellybean whatever she's done.0
