  • You could always go for the leaner cuts of meat/mince if you're worried about the amount of fat.
I see the predicament of the chinese! For me it's all about the crispy duck and chicken satay so I'd be fine :-P Prawn and Seseme wrapped in spinach leaves? Mushroom and beansprout stirfry? Sliced up refried omelette? Gets you some of the flavours at least.

I would offer to babysit soyou can go the cinema (based on my extrapolations I don't think you're more than a couple towns from me) but a-I'm a random stranger from the internet and b- I'm not at my most stable right now (I can just imagine the look on my Dad's face when I told him he had to come with me to babysit a random persons daughter with me!)

Did you make Jelly's doctors appt? You mention quite a lot throughout the diary about her vomiting after dairy-free stuff.

    Hope you had fun label-writing!

How goes the food today? I'm sat here, all smug, as I munch my 'coleslaw' (white cabbage, spring onion, carrot, red pepper, cucumber), and tomatoes, watercress and spinach, along with a good helping of ham. All liberally doused in evoo and balsamic. Yum.

And I'm smug because I haven't dropped any of it on my tee shirt!

I am still label writing. There are 900+ to do, and fold twice on the perforations, and tear and insert... :rotfl:

I have made an appointment for the May bank holiday as they couldnt get her in much more before that - if she is poorly in the meantime I will get her seen urgently and speed it up, but she hasn't been catastrophic recently, just lots of 'tummy eggs' bless her!

AH data extrapolation ;) you sound like killerpeaty!! ;) I wonder where you are. BILLIE is not far from me either. Reminds me what a small world (country) this is!! And bless you, I can imagine you bringing your dad. In reality it would be 'Dad can you come and sit with me in someones house and watch TV til they come home?' as she would be asleep from 6 onwards :rotfl:

I'm about to take lunch at work. Have stuck gracefully to my diet and my chocolate fudge cakes with chocolate fudge topping are going down very well!! I made mini ones ;) and I was very good and didn't eat any!!!

I had mushroom omelette today for breakfast. Nuts as my mid-morning snack. lunch was turky breast with feta cheese, avocado, lettuce & celery with a mountain of washed baby spinach :)

No idea for dinner yet :D xxx

I am very impressed with your breakfast and lunch, I have finally finished all the chicken curry from monday, so now ill have to start thinking about my lunches again,

hope you get the labelling done, it reminds me of when we moved branches six years ago, I had just had my first of five operations and I couldn't move too well and so they put me in a room with a bunch of key fobs and asked me to label them all, all the rest of the staff was carrying boxes and moving stuff as we only moved down the road, so they were back and forth, so I suppose at the time I was thinking WTH, but looking back now it wasn't too bad and probably the better option...

    :-)

Well I am back from holiday and have spent the last 12 hours catching up on : Jelly being sick and self harming (has the latter stopped?); promotion for Him, well done; Jelly tantrums and a sad mummy and daddy, but now we have had a third birthday that faze is fading fast and on that note a very belated birthday - Peppa and all pigs are my fav so very jel of that cake!!; the unexpected passing of client and husband, very tragic for all concerned and of course the peaceful passing of your Pop - my sympathies and love and hugs; Osteo - hmmm..... you have said yourself you are feeling better, not taken some painkillers, feeling taller - so must being doing something right. Maybe just talk with him about some of the procedures!; funeral attendance or not - I have read between the lines and think you have made the right decision - when I lost my dad I agonised over whether my boys should attend and my then 11 year old told me firmly on the day 'Mum, Grandpa would not want me to miss my last day of Junior School would he? So, shall we go and get our uniform on?' - decision made and of course he was right; Dignitas well I have my ticket too; kondo'ing - which still has me confused.

So it's great to have caught up, throughout which I have laughed and cried.

Well... BILLIE did it best kd :rotfl:

The only things to add are Jellytot covered in purple pen, jellytot not covered in anything and sitting prim and clean for a picture... And a complete diet overhaul to stop the migraines and stop me having to resort to more horse tranquillisers! So I am mainly eating greenery, meat, eggs, butter, nuts... :rotfl:

Have to say many thanks to some lovely lovely people....

Levi for my card, which was opened by work colleague :rotfl: but she is daft with that sort of thing!

MeandO for the fabby DVD's for missy; she is most chuffed!!!

applemuncher for the book!! I am halfway through and this explains my absence since yesterday lunchtime :rotfl: - very good, thank you very much!!! xxx

Not really mate; it was really pants in fact. We all have those days though eh!

On the plus side, still sticking like glue to the diet, day 6 today and I am reaping the benefits of seriously level blood sugars. Breakfast, omelette. Lunch mackerel & feta salad with a blob of mayo. Dinner rather random mix of steamed broccoli & savoy cabbage, celery, walnuts, pecans, half an avocado and a steak, with some cream added to the pan post flash-frying which made a lovely sauce mixed with the juice :) - I know celery is salad and the rest isn't, and it was an odd mix of hot and cold. But in my defence I didn't snack at all today so thought I better add the nuts in. And I LIKE celery :o:o:o:o :rotfl:
