Fizzy I don't know about positive if my afternoon wobbles are anything to go by
but turkey with soy sauce and sesame oil soon kicks it into touch. I then got wobbly on the way home tonight panicking about what to eat. So another £20 spent in the supermarket
this is expensive!! But I can honestly say the headache is not as bad as expected and I am sticking to the water, green tea and finding the food very pleasant. I am especially liking the masses of green veggies as I secretly love them
Dr appt not booked yet apple - will ring them in the morning around 11ish and book one in for her. Probably be a couple of weeks all told as the non-urgent's always are. But at least I can pick a good doctor! Thanks for the reminder. As for the osteo, after the lap-sitting I haven't been back. I would have had to pay for it all myself outright so if I wait until the week after next it is all free again
SUPERDAAAAVE(ina) lovely to see ya, thanks for popping in on your most especially busy timebig love!
Lots of visitors as usual... for sure this place is more sociable than my real life
Anyways I am retiring to my bed after my dinner of 98% pork sausages (x4) and some greens with a dollop of mayo. Pleased with how it went today. Tomorrow will test me because I have to bake a chocolate fudge cake for my work colleagues  and not eat any. Or eat the icing.. before it hits the cake. Sigh. Anyways it is Friday treats day and the last day they will see me before my birthday so bake I must.
I also have to decide on my packed lunch etc and weigh and sort my snacksI think I need to do a 3 day bulk cook on a Tuesday evening and sort it all out, but for my first week I don't think organising 2 days the night before work is bad. Just glad I don't work full time!! :rotfl:
By the way, on the way back from the supermarket, my path was lit with super shiny 2p coins all the way :rotfl: my Pop has a dirty sense of humour.
Night all, and thank you for your invaluable support. I love you all dearly. xxx

Glad your Pop is sending you little messages
that makes me smile!
And pleased that the new way of eating is going well too - I'm still ploughing through the Primal book, but it's quite similar to Paleo, which I've done before and really suits me, so I think I'll be joining you. Meat is expensive though

Step.. I am a little bit frightened of the diet cost. I have to say though, once I have nailed it I think I will be able to keep the costs down. I have TONNES of meat. 4 steaks, 24 good quality cumberland sausages, 10 turkey breasts.... didn't cost as much as I worried it would.. & eggs.. those are expensive too but then you have chooks don't you so that eases that a bit
Veggies are cheap and plentiful and cutting out pasta, potatoes, rice and bread will drop costs immensely. Not forgetting no milk required so am not getting through either soya milk or cows milk any more.
I am feeling more positive about it now.. but I am very sated after my lovely dinner. I find it surprising that i don't feel I am missing out. Him sat with 2 pieces of battered cod, chips, potato waffles (you heard me right.. he does it all the time even though he knows they are the same... and in his defence he was clearing space for my meat in the freezer!!) and onion rings and I wasn't even botheredit will be if he has a chinese or something I will die a bit inside. I don't even get stressed by him eating chocolate as I have always been more thrilled by buying and stockpiling it than eating it.. :rotfl: Me&O this reminds me.. you were asking how I could do it.. There is your answer! I am more freaked out by an empty desk and am likely to buy £20 worth of pure junk in the supermarket at lunchtime then eat far too much of it if it is not there than I am with a desk full!!
Right, seriously.. bed. xxx

sounds like you have it down to a tee,
Just popped on to see if you had heard about the 241 cinema trick on here?
I did it yesterday and it worked, so worth having a look if you go to the cinema at all :-)I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Banking & Borrowing, and Reduce Debt & Boost Income boards. I used to line the muffin tins with bacon then fill with egg mixed with quark and bake-i seem to remember it's the milk protein not lactose that is the problem for you so not sure if that helps.
When I did low carb I made shephards/cottage pie using mashed cauliflower instead of potato for the top.
Can you do lasagne using slices of corgette or aubergine instead of pasta?
I love my carbs, the 3 for £10 deal at sainsbugs is quite good value and the pork mince is often 2 for £7.
You must have willpower of iron to bake a cake and not even lick icing! I made 10 gu-like cheesecakes today and already ate 2.
Hello to the other lovely people in Lilty's house. I can bring marmalade if someone brings toastand a bag of chicken for poor lilt!
oooh-just thought- can you do a carb free chinese fakeaway to avoid temptation Lilt? I did a SW free indian fakeaway before deciding I'd rather be fat.Credit card respend 2551.58 (15/02/17)0 -
Westie with a 2 year old that goes to bed at 6pm and no babysitter in sight, I very rarely get out to the cinema. In fact the last thing I saw was the last Avengers film
Lucky I felt rather blessed that my usual super practical, not too emotional bosses were so nice. Boss number 1 had apparently told boss number 2 on her holiday last week that I was planning on working not going to the funeral and she was very kind and just told me whatever I needed to do/take to do so
Ruth That bacon muffin sounds lovely. I can't help but wonder, looking at the fat content of my diet how they think this is 'good' for anyone :rotfl: - I too am a carb freak. Not so bothered about cake, but the icing I can eat and have often eaten tubs of, by itself. I used to buy myself a tub of the ready made buttercream as a treat :rotfl: and I wonder why I am fat hmm?
You must have read my mind though. I made a lasagne with spinach layers on Monday!! It was very nice, but I only had greek yoghurt. Maybe I will make it again with the cream I now need to use up!!
Marmalade.... toast... sounds yum. I have to say I have no headache today and have the crazy energy boost that masses of protein and a swimming pools worth of water give you so I am feeling like I could fight off you toast invaders with a stick of butter and a sausage this morning
Carb free chinese... for me this is basically a 'why did you bother?' meal and I too would definitely rather be fat!! My chinese is usually mushroom chow mein, egg fried rice, prawn toast... you get my predicament!
Right am at work up to my eyeballs in writing labels. My 'lovely' handwriting has got me the task of labelling up our new filing system. All 900+ lateral suspension files. They pay well for the rubbish jobs I get
Have a good day all xx
